I was tickled to hear I’m not the only one who has a plant wish list in the notes on my phone. It has come in so handy when I’m shopping for plants.

I have two lists on my phone, one is for native plants. I should split the other one to have a separate shrub/tree list. 🇨🇦

I do too! And it seems like every time I watch a Creekside video, at least one plant more gets added to that list 😂

Hey Jenny and all! Been digging my mystic illusion dahlias and storing over winter for 4 years now. They are huge! Everyone loves the foliage and yellow flowers, might pair with pineapple brandy coleus next year.

Jenny you are so wonderful. Thank you for reminding us that any little thing our garden gives us is a blessing. Because yes it is. I needed that reminder! It makes me happy when I see a plant growing into its own especially when I have neglected it. Not on purpose of course. 😊

👋🏼 Hello from Arizona 🍋. I have 2 Vertigo grasses that I planted 3 seasons ago and they come back big and beautiful each year. They are also the only grass I have that still looks good after a month of 110° weather. So for any friends who are in Arizona or southern California and parts of Nevada I highly recommend you New Mexico and southern Texas. grab these. They are worth it!!!

It’s amazing how beautiful those flowers are after 6-7 months in our summer heat and humidity! Mine not so much 😅. I so love those tall garden beds you are putting out in the patio garden, wonderful for easier access as we age ( me)❤

I have to say my favorite flowerbed is the one with the Golden Dreams and Mystic Illusion dahlias. I loved it a few months ago and I still do. Sadly, I couldn't find the Mystic Illusion this year, but I had it for the past two seasons. I tried to save the tubers, but had no success. I do love the Campfire Marshmello. I've seen it is a couple of different gardens in different climates, all doing well. If I can find it, I will have to plant some of them too! But, as usual, my favorite is watching the progress on your projects. I don't know why they so facinate me, but I love to build stuff too. That's too much hard labor for poor little old me, but I sure love watching it. Thank you, Jenny! Looking forward to the next installment of GWC!

I am not a fan of yellow. This dahlia may change my mind because it has a purple/green leaf and stem. Might try it in a nondescript place just to see how I feel about it.

Looking really awesome. Now tell how to plant a rhododendron in the shade with only 2 hours of direct sun. Leaves are curling like it’s dry but it’s not. I stick my finger in the ground. This will be the THIRD rhododendron I lost.
