Great video review. I like how candid Jerry is; I can tell that you are both passionate about what you do! The breast cancer video was life changing. My sister-in-law was a breast cancer survivor of 6 years. Sadly, the cancer returned in her spine; which we came to find out is very common. She only lasted less than a year and it was a horrible way to die. Prayers to Heidi and anyone dealing and going thru treatment. ❤🙏

Regarding Crape Myrtles - I had to dig up nine crape myrtles due to Crape Myrtle Scale - hit all at once. Two are pending - but it's just a matter of time. So sad - all that growing time to have them gone now - I don't fool around with that stuff. Baltimore 7b/8a. Love the chat time with you guys.

I have started a List of plants that I would love to have in my Zone 9 Cottage Garden. I can hardly get through a full session because I’m constantly pausing and flipping to my Cottage Garden Notes to add a new variety or to check to see if I have already listed it. If I can I try to get a screen shot. And I love when you mention the zones. It’s heart breaking to fall in love with a plant to find out I can’t grow it here. We are originally from Tulsa OK which is the same zone as you. I miss many of the plants I was able to grow there, but recently you mentioned a lilac that will grow in zone 9 but I forgot to list it. Do you remember which variety it might have been? I also don’t remember if it was Southern Living, Proven Winners or Walter’s.

What a reward system! I have ordered a couple different times and we were at your garden center in the summer. Everything I got has done beautifully. My Loco Poco Abelia has over performed. It is by far my favorite. It even has two blooms. I looked to see and it shouldn't have them right now. Will it be okay? I wish I could post a picture of it to show you. It's beautiful. We are a zone 6b.

I can attest to the problems with removing a Crepe Myrtle. We removed 2 and it literally took years to stop the suckers from coming up everywhere.

I get facebook notifications -- but rarely from youtube. Just a note that it is loaded on youtube and a link is good for me on facebook. I do not use my email for social. Flash floods can carry cars away. People don't realize how fast the water moves. Those plants are long gone. We never say never in Missouri because as soon as we do, another flood comes. I had to pick up my sister and brother in law at the airport, and only drove through a couple inches of flash flood and it almost took my car and me, luckily the path was only a few feet. Never again, I thought I was just driving through water.
