I value these types of videos so much. Growing indoor plants is fun, rewarding and provides medicine to those who need it, but this stuff teaches you to feed yourself. Living without medicine can be painful but living without nutrient dense food will literally kill you slowly. Great video!

Kis organics was on FCP the other day saying the same thing, cover crops can become a literal harbor for the pests. Mulching indoors was the better option I think 🤔

I am organic and have been for 2 years. I have some amazing runs. I use BAS 3.0 and some of their other products. Along with gaia green, and some terp teas from roots organic. Lots of microbs for inoculation. Next step for me is to have some custom size grass roots beds made. Already had them quoted, just have to pull the trigger.

Good vid. She is in the condition she's in because she is of the modern food mindset and have been weakened and deranged. If this lady lived properly she would know great health and capability comes from knowing yourself and living wisely. Plants undisturbed in nature are also less plugged up and polluted. People that care for themselves properly are as well. The modern man is a mess.

If a spoonful of soil from outside has 1000s of species of microbiology it sounds like you could get a cup full and toss it in a gallon of water to innoculate your indoor garden. It should multiply if the soil is good. I wonder if the winter cold limits the amount of biology in the soil outside? I can go to a local park with woods where deer live, it should be pretty good soil.

I think I missed something. First you mention bugs in a bottle as a poor system if you have to reapply every few weeks but then you collect and culture the natural biomes baterial/fungi etc and the reapply every so often. Does that not contradict what you said about them self replicating in a healthy biological system?

I'm still at 11mn so maybe it's answered later, but one thing I really wonder about tilling for biodiversity is if the answer is the same in very different biomes, for instance where I live the soil is similar to over there where it rains a lot and it hammers the earth into a compact hardened mud, vegetation is a plenty here, but there isn't a lot of yielding plants in the wild, mostly herbs and berries if you're looking to forage for subsistance. The rest is mostly trees and shrugs and grass and some moss. But it's colder side of temperate climate that stays mostly humid unless it really dries up in summer for a few weeks. but the big difference with the PNW here in europe is what's under the earth, it is mostly chalk and some clay, not a super rich soil life like in the US. I wonder if tilling makes more sense in those conditions than in a super rich ecosystem. I heard it affects frost during the winter also which could be an issue for perennials such as artichoke which id love to grow. i know some people dogrow it in my area with semi success, but most the ones you find in stores are imported and full of bugs so I want to dig into why myself. its one of my favorite plants and historically present in our culture so there must be a way to make it work.

This surface tilling I am testing here in puglia/Italy.bought a Goldoni traktor(20)years old helps putting stones away and hopefully find a reasonable woodchipper trying to mulch and covercrop. 8month no rain until a few days ago planting here starts now.summertime here is easily 45 to 50 Celsius in the sun. I’m just trying and keep on experimenting.

Thank you for everything you do. My wife has stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and I have a rare incurable neurological condition called Arachnoiditis. We're both users of the plant we all know and love and it has been extremely beneficial in our quality of life. I have been watching you for about a year now and I'm currently on my 1st grow. Have a complete AC Infinity 4x4 with S44 Ionboard for light. I'm using 50/50 FF Happy Frog and Oceans forest and just started 5 autoflower seedlings (One doesn't look like it's going to make it) in their forever 5gal fabric pots. They're on AC Infinity auto watering bases. 18/6 light cycle. Temp. 74°night-78°day. Humidity 60-65%. I'm using Fox Farm nutrients for now because it's what my wife already had for her vegetable garden. Any suggestions, advice, tips, or NoNos would be greatly appreciated and thanks again for everything you do...🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

once again, really great information Mr. Grow it! really helpful to find out another perspective on organic growing. the practical information gives more insight as to the different methods and when to apply them. personally, its been a real intense experience trying organic farming due to the amount of variables. putting the theory into practice requires another set of skills completely. If you can, a video on building a soil for medicinal plants would be great. went thorugh 3 months of trying different mixes of soil and aeration before i realised these plants need an relatively inert, airy medium which is then amended. finally found coco, peat moss and rock combinations rule. I noticed each have different physical - rather than nutrient, qualities that can add stability and flexibility to changing conditions - an extra safety measure when growing in pots. it took a whole lot of stress to get to the point where i was comfortable with the medium. so, it would be really helpful to find out the science behind it, or even just how to wash, prep, filter and treat various types of media such as coco, peat moss etc including others such as tree bark and wood chips/saw dust, that create the right texture. thank you for the great content

I watched a water shortage documentary that might give more insight into the lack of organic alfalfa mulch available.. Alfalfa is a very water hungry crop, with the water shortages in some areas alfalfa farmers have had to only plant 50% of their normal crops this year. So organic alfalfa may not be a viable mulch option going into the future until they are able to produce more.

Firstly I'm not very familiar with KNF so I have an honest question... is the Knf method completely ignoring the fungal aspect of soil? Secondly the method of low til is honestly a waste of energy. Top dress, mulch and keep adding mulch. This method is no different than plain old tilling. Your breaking the fungle connections and exposing your biome to air and light.
