Tunédex Side Notes #26: My team and I were walking through a mountain trail when I noises from a battle close by. We ran to check what was going on. An injured Pokémon was cornered by the Metagross from before. It was pummeling relentlessly on the other Pokémon. Lucario and Ceruledge quickly drew the Metagross's attention long enough for me to run and grab the Pokemon. The Pokémon turned out to be a Gardevoir but blue. The look of fear in its eyes was heartbreaking. I assured that it was safe now. Whether it trusted me or it was too weak to move, I tried to carry it away from the metal behemoth, but it gave chase. The Metagross hovered over us and tried to attack us. I protected the Gardevoir until Lucario caught up and distracted the Metagross. I noticed a cave ran towards it. Once inside, I laid the blue Gardevoir against the wall and ran to help my friends. By that time, Ceruledge rejoined the fight. I tried out my new lightning abilites on the Metagross. Suddenly, a small black hole appeared and made the Metagross disappear. We turned to see the Gardevoir had crawled out to help. It soon collapsed due to its injures and exhaustion. I carried the blue Gardevoir to a nearby ranger station and reported of the Metagross. As it recovered, the Gardevoir told us its story. it mentioned that no one would leave it alone all because it was born a different color than other Gardevoir. It then asked if it could stay with us for safety. Ceruledge and Lucario did not object to the request so the blue Gardevoir became the newest member if the team.

Nice! This shows the power of Metagross as it takes more than 2 pokemon, of which both have moves whose types are super effective against Metagross, to even stand a chance against it.
