Thanks for this video! I just got an '84 Garelli for free, lady said it ran when she parked it two years ago. I got her running on starting fluid but gas isn't getting through the carb. I partially took the car apart tonight but haven't worked with carbs before so I didn't take it all the way apart. Now I definitely know how to go about cleaning the carb tomorrow! My choke lever has the same exact issue yours did, and I'm hoping the jet is clogged too so it'll actually run on the gas. Thanks again man!

Thanks for the video. Having trouble with big hands and getting the slide/cable back in place. This helps.

What should I do when I have the accelerator but the shock is not pulled

Could you tell me why mine is over flowing after taking it apart to clean? It comes all the way out off the top by the two slide screws

The only thing that stops the flow is the needle and seat seal. You might have a piece of debris in there or a bad seal. That is where you need to look.

Looks like a 1980 Rally Sport I've got one too this was super helpful. Any more moped videos?

Hey Nate! We have almost the same moped, where is the mixture screw vs. base idle adjustment? I can only seem to find one screw (the one with the spring coming out of it). I'm running real lean right now and can't seem to find where to change it.

3:41 I said mixture screw, I think I meant idle screw.

***** At the end of the video where you just talking about one screw?

8thWeekday the top nut is for cable tension, the side screw is idle speed. The mixture on these is more controlled by the jet size. Running lean generally leans towards an air leak. I'd check there first. I'm more used to working on full sized bikes so I think I misspoke in a few places here

***** No worries thanks for you help. Definitely have an air leak just can't find it. Thing dies when spraying carb cleaner on it. I don't have a seal near the fuel filter though so I'll try and find one tomorrow, did you buy yours just at a hardware store? Don't know where else this leak could be, everything else looks so clean.
