I always thought the best place to put you right now is at the top - maximum overs and no pressure on you to score quickly. Unlucky on the run out BUT you needed that time in the middle to remember how good it feels to bat :)

A bit of nip off the seam and turn early, seemed to settle down later. You batted during the hardest time, got yourself in, and were unlucky to get run out before really cashing in. Loved that on drive through straight mid-wicket, shows you have your foot work and balance working again, great signs for the next matches.

Gareth, i personally think, watching that back in slow motion that is wasn't out and the umpire got the call wrong, but if it was out, the way you batted today was much better to how you have batted on previous days and it was unfortunate how you got out.

What the run out? He was out by quite some distance. Watch it at 0.25 speed and pause when the wicket is broken around 11:50. You can plainly see he is nowhere near the line.
