Enjoy your reviews and own a EF D3+ with an external 1kw Smart Battery attached, you did a great review on the D3+ review I ended up buying one. I was looking for an equivalent power bank rating to the D3+ but without all the buzz and whistles AND COST of an EF and this Pecron model was clearly top of the list . But this 1800w inverter with only 3000w surge is a deal killer. I am really surprised they didn’t use a 1800w with 3600w surge as the D3+. This way all those tool surges you demonstrated would had worked. Darn it , I was really leaning this way. Thank you so much for demonstrating the inverter surge capability and limitations . PS: the Pecron 12v 20A DC output would had been a dream come true on the D3+. There are so many millions of hobbiest that need this level of DC for hobbies. That is the one capability my D3+ does not have that is very disappointing.

I just discovered your channel and it’s good. I like it. I have been going over some of your power station reviews because I’m in need of an upgrade. I would like to point out one thing that is always overlooked. It is very important to Astro photographers. We have to use these things in the field or even in our backyard on an everyday basis whenever the sky is clear and the 12 V ports are very important with Astro photography. Almost everything runs off of those two 12 V DC 5.5x2.1 jacks and if they are not present on the unit, then they are automatically disqualified. They run everything from the star tracker to the computers and the dew heaters. They run continuously from sundown to sun up. I just wanted to point this out for any future testing that you engage in that you consider this in your test. Thank you for everything you are doing. I am leaning towards a Pecron E600.

Great video. You nailed it in the large category with the Pecron E1500 and Oupes Mega 1. However in the X large category, the best budget should have been the Oupes Mega 2 vs the Anker. Both has the same wattage and capacity but the Mega 2 has 3 advantages. 1) It's cheaper, usually ~$200 less. 2) Better solar input. Up to 140v max vs 60v. That's a huge difference. 3) The Mega is 48lbs vs Solix 67lbs. Another huge difference. I don't see why would anyone buy the Solix F2000 vs the Oupes Mega 2.

Thank you for the great reviews of these products. One thing I did not hear covered was the requirement for an app. I don't know why these products tend to all require an app but it feels like a huge, potential problem. Besides my lack of love for cell phones, when Hurricane Beryl hit town, we could not even use our cell phones - since the grid was down, the cell phone company had a generator to back up the local tower (this is what I was told) - and it was not enough power to provide service to all the local customers. Also, what if your cell phone is down at the same time you have used all the power in one of these units? Doesn't that present a problem? I've learned so much from your videos - thank you!

Best overall pick for overlanding/offroading is the Etaker M2000. The Etaker M2000 is only 37lbs (30% lighter than other 2000WH stations) and half the size of any 2000+ WH power station. 2008 WH with 89% capacity DC and 93% capacity AC. It has Semi solid state with GAN technology. 2000 Watt AC inverter and takes 1000 watts of solar. Has split phase 240v and is expandable up to 20,000 WH. Charges from 0-100% in 1 hour. Interesting, I’ll have to look at that suggestion and compare it to my two Anker 767’s. Thanks. Does it really have 240 volt split phase from just a single power station? If yes, then the 2000 watt inverter and 2k watt hour capacity are small for most 240 volt needs, but still could be useful in some use cases. Edit: Just checked out the m2000 and I see that it’s smaller and lighter because it’s NOT LiFePo batteries, so less lifespan and less safety, I’ll stick with my Anker 767’s. Also, like the Ecoflo, you need two, to output 240volts.

@ReeWrayOutdoors2 ай бұрын
I actually DO test these...pretty thoroughly. What output spec are you referring to? Battery capacity, or AC Inverter? In either case, the Pecron's I've tested all do successfully output to the spec on the AC inverter rating. And in terms of usable battery capacity, all power stations will provided a usable capacity that is LESS than the 'rated' capacity, due to a variety of factors - so when I evaluate these, I compare a power station's usable capacity to the 'average'...and Pecron units have performed well within that range. I'd be curious to hear specifically why you think they do not.

Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2024 Style: BLUETTI AC70Verified Purchase As at least one other reviewer has mentioned, this unit has the 120V outlets wired opposite to the US standard, with the hot and neutral wires reversed. This is extremely dangerous if you have the unit plugged into the wall and also powering an appliance, as it has the potential to energize the exterior of your appliance and shock you with deadly voltage.
