Another first class job of reviewing. It's amazing how in such a short period of time as in 2 to 3 yrs, how quickly the technology and cost have changed. Peaking at published research on advancing battery technology it wouldn't surprise me if these remarkable lithium iron phosphate batteries are, being replaced with new chemistry and electrode designs. Four yrs ago l couldn't afford Li battery first costs for my trailer. I purchased my 6V deep cycle lead acid for alittle under what we can find for 100 AH batteries and get twice the capacity. I recently replaced my boat anchors for Li iron phosphate. I'm now running my small ac window ac completely on my new batteries.

Like us, we need to keep it in a nice environment. 13:54 can do ! Wheels, man cart, Styrofoam or yeti box, fans, can do.... this is a beast. Air shocks to keep truck from pointing up in the air, lol... Great video.

Their 100ah options are nice too. $250 for low high temp disconnect and $270 for the d self heating option.

I'd love to see an episode on utilizing a battery like this in an all DC camping/travel setup. A short list of available DC powered accessories, e.g. A/C units, would be super informative for me.

Wow I was thinking of buying one of this for $1100 to power my EcoFlow Delta Pro 3 instead of buying Extra Battery but the price went up to $1400 where I can get EcoFlow EB for $2000 shipped no tax

We're up to a 12v 610ah battery now. Soon a single 1000ah will be offered.

Please please please have either blue booth app or display on during temp test As they will show what the sensors are reading. Seems so obvious but no one seams to do this 😢

As always great video. I'm new to all these but am learning and have bought power stations for emergency back ups which now I wished I hadn't . Regardless I was wondering if these 12V battery would be more efficient than the route I just took. I bought an EG4 LL 48V battery and the EG4 off grid 3kw inverter to run my residential 26. cu ft. refrigerator . I did a diy with the hand truck for portability and I was quite disappointed that it only ran it for 37 hours using 2.4KW and the idle consumption loss was 2.6kw. I think I made an error in buying this system and now wonder if buying a 12V 460ah battery using a 1800W or 2000W inverter would be more efficient. This is one of the batteries I may consider and there is another in the running. Would sure have loved seeing you include how long it would run your residential fridge. In many cases going 48V is a smarter choice and route, but for someone like me who only needs back up power for a couple of hours or a couple of days a 12V system is more suitable as it it easier to charge the battery with a lesser amount of VOC from solar panels. I don't have the yard required to charge the EG4 inverter that requires at minimum 120v of VOC. Thank you very much for your videos.

Great review, so what size solar panel would you need to keep this charged up? So a 3000 watt inverter would be ideal for this battery?

!!?$..That "Tankey" steel cased 48volt wonder @ HOW MUCH!!??. I recently made up a 6 x12v..i.e...720AH LiPo4 low temp protect 12volt bank, 2/0 copper 600v-rated(!)..welding cable, a Chinese 3KW running(!)rated 12v inverter WITH pretty thorough display(!), then the obligatory 300amp breaker switch...all for like $1,600! I DO wish I had sprung for the remote switch version, but still..not BAD I say.

Like the case, read out, 100llbs 400lbs to make 48v that is a function cable of? And your correct that shut off melting is not acceptable at all blowing hot air gun in ?? Not Shure about that??🤔

I do have a couple of 12V system 'How-To" videos up that explain that in detail, but to get into that kind of detail in a battery review would create some pretty long videos. But I take your point that not everyone understands how to do those things and it'd be helpful if I at least mentioned that they can get more of that detail in other videos.

@@ReeWrayOutdoors all you would need to say is the wattage of solar input the battery can take. Something like 1000W It should say in the manual..

@land0mancapt.stupid857 actually it's not that simple. The battery BMS does have a max charging current (250A in this particular case) but that is WAY higher than you would ever charge via solar. And you cannot directly connect solar panels to the battery. You need a charge controller to regulate the voltage to an appropriate level to avoid damaging the battery. So it's the external charge controller that determines the solar input capacity, not the battery or the battery's BMS.

it is 2p4s battery pack that uses eight 3.2V 230Ah cells.

@@greensavant2573 100Ah batteries with Bluetooth and low temp are as cheap as $159 right now. With the BT not sure why a display is necessary, nice but not necessary. For that price it should have a Can Bus/RS485 port on it. Curious as to what BMS it's running?

@AverageOverlander well since the BMS supports up to 250A, if this is the only battery in the system it can handle up to 3200W. But of course if you are combining with other batteries the current sharing would allow much larger inverters.

Oh..referring to my "$1,600 only" patched together 720AH x 12volt setup..Do NOT!..use solid copper or aluminum bar connectors as different temps cause expansion/contraction of batteries vs connectors's rates..stresses on internal battery terminal structure!!And(!) WHY dont the inverter makers add decent battery current initial surge inrush capacitor/inductor control?! Those mosfets must take a beating..unless left "ON".. waisting standby current.😮??
