It’s honestly my favorite part! I want all of my enclosures to have a hollowed our cork bark in the middle to climb on or hide in. It looks so nice too! Good luck with your setup! 💕💕💕

@@reptiliangarden thanks. It's been an ongoing (2 week!) process just getting my multiple shopping carts on different pages sorted out and everytime I think I'm good to order something goes out of stock and I have to change everything again. I wonder if I'm the only one that really takes it to such extremes and edits their cart over and over for 2+ weeks lol

@@reptiliangarden well, I FINALLY ordered and of course used my code REPTILIANGARDEN for 15% (sadly I lost most of my savings to shipping because I ordered plants and they don't ship free even over $100, which I think kind of sucks... to pay another 15 for shipping when you're already spending 150... bleh) but yeah your code saved me almost 30 bucks!

You can just use gorilla glue!!. It's basically the foam in liquid form and you don't have to use the silicone! I learned this from Clint's reptile here on KZbin.

i like al the four enclosures looks great like this !!! one lazy trick is to use a piece of cork or vinyl between al the silicone and the glass so if you ever want to change it just cut the edge and rip it out in one piece.👍

Another reason to cover the spray foam is that the geckos can and will scratch at it until it ends up in little pieces and may think it's food and then try to consume it. Just something to think about. But I know you love your animals and probably already thought about that.
@reptiliangarden4 жыл бұрын
I wasn’t aware of that. Thank you for telling me!!

🦎👌 Sunny sure is stunning! And yea please be careful setting up your shelves by yourself! A chair or table is easily knocked over. By itself that can be enough to ruin your time but with a glass enclosure bloody hell girl literally 😉 a lil advice from someone who has his fair share of so called accidents. Other than that well done again 😎 sure heaps of hides and places to explore for lil one...

Do gargoyle geckos not require special heating or lighting? I’ve read conflicting opinions and I’m interested in your take.
@reptiliangarden4 жыл бұрын
They are comfortable with room temperature, so heat isn’t necessary. If your temps are too low, I recommend using a space heater to increase the ambient temperature of the room. You can use a 5.0 uvb though! It isn’t required, but it can be beneficial.

Oh hey which feeding dish is that in sunny's enclosure? I really like the color of it and all I keep finding is either mushroom, granite or mohave color which looks too bright for my taste. It looks like it might be a magnaturals as well though? Your little critter stickers are so cute! Do you make those yourself? I may have to look into that and borrow the idea. So far I've been slapping my pangea stickers on my gecko notebook (their stickers are super cute too)

Mine usually takes 24 hours. Make sure you use and aquarium safe silicone. They shouldn’t be too smelly for so long. Joshsfrogs is a safe place to get silicone
