It's an epic hike for sure, including both temperate rainforest and mountain lake scenery. The switchbacks seem nearly endless at times though!

Wow, the Garibaldi Lake Trail and Panorama Ridge look absolutely stunning! It’s easy to see why this hike is considered one of the best near Vancouver. The views of Garibaldi Provincial Park are breathtaking, and it’s clear why this is one of your favorite hikes in BC. Thanks for sharing this amazing experience. What a nice video!! Have a great day 👌 Cheers, Simon - Tales From Abroad

I did a hike with my friend 1 week ago and it was so good. It was scary yet exciting. We didn't knew that at the top there will be any snow and were not prepared for that. It rained in the bottom and was snowing when we reached at the top.

Yeah, it’s definitely best to do this hike between July and September!

I have 4 nights booked at Garibaldi lake in mid August and I'm so stoked. It'll be my first solo backpacking trip. I'm going to hike to the lake the first night, then spend one day going to Panorama Ridge, one to Black Tusk and maybe one to check out Taylor meadows or just chill and swim in the lake and read. Nice and relaxed.

Our family with a five-year-old child did it in 12 hours guys - it was our first climb and in our opinion it was not as difficult as many people say 😉

Can you leave your belongings at the campsite and do this hike and then pack?
@madetoexplore9 ай бұрын
Yeah we do it all the time and have never had a problem. I just wouldn’t leave anything expensive.

Hi, when did you do this? Is early June a good time to do this?
@madetoexplore10 ай бұрын
That would most likely be to early, I’d recommend July August or September

Did u guys see any bears should that be a concern?
@madetoexplore6 ай бұрын
We didn’t but it’s always a good idea to bring bear spray as there are bears in this area.
@rohitghoshal6 ай бұрын
I did this as a 1 day hike last year and saw couple of black bears at distance in the meadows section. Taylor meadows campground also closes after august I think, due to bear activity. However, its much more uncommon to see bears near the lake. So, yes bring bear spray as you will have to cross the meadows section to climb up the panorama ridge. The meadows section is filled with berry bushes, hence you can see bears feeding there.
