Not sure what scapes are or what they taste like but your ability to make such fresh food is amazing!
@jennibennett9724 Жыл бұрын
They're garlic stalks that would turn into flowers if you left them on the garlic. You cut them off before they flower and it forces the garlic to put its energy into growing a bigger bulb.

Chef just explained what garlic scapes are. I know becuz I'm growing elephant garlic at home. 🐘🧄

@@valenciaj.linder8287but what is the taste? I thought I tried it once and I didn’t get much of a garlic taste, so now I’m second-guessing if that was what I had lol

Garlic scapes grow on stems above planted garlic.. you cut them to revert energy to the garlic

Use them to make Pesto in the same way you'd use Basil. It tastes amazing

I like to watch you cook with absolutely farm fresh ingredients. It looks delectable. I think this sauce will go well with steamed fish too or prawn.

Еще очень вкусно чесночные стрелки отварить, остудить, затем залить их вкусным томатным соком, посолить и добавить свежую зелень, например, укроп. Невероятная вкуснятина!

How do you cook fish without having your home smell like fish ?
@shaymin33988 Жыл бұрын
you just have to close all the room doors and leave all the windows open haha. my mom has cooked so much fish in my life that it’s a ritual to do so as soon as i smell her cooking fish.

@@shaymin33988 what happens if you have an open layout of your home not a lot of doors or windows. Plus living in a apartment complex that will not work for me.
