Love your videos. I have followed your tips and made some great routes and trips in Garmin Basecamp on my laptop. Is it possible to see those same saved data, routes etc if I was to sign in on a different computer? Thanks

I see on base camp you have many icons for dealers, camping etc. When I transfer to garmin XT only the route or track Carries over not the points of interest, gas icons etc. Can you get them to transfer over also? If so how. You also talk about changing the route when on the trip, if you do not have a computer with base camp how do you do that? ?

Waypoints in a list in BaseCamp can be copied to the GPS. They show up in "Favorites" on the GPS Thanks for watching.

How did you get the HD Dealers and Logo into Garmin Basecamp? Would love to have these as Waypoints in my Dealers folder to add to trips, or just in case. I do know that I can find a dealer easy on the phone, or via the Garmin XT if needed, but always good to have a "plan". Thanks!

So once you have the folders and files all set, and you enter them into the Garmin unit, does it combine all that info or do you have to chose which route you want. Example- you are traveling and suddenly need to get to the next dealership, will it be on the current route you are running or will you have to back out of your current route and chose the dealership route to find the next closest dealer?

What goes to the Garmin depends on what you export. The two choices are 1) everything in the list that has something highlighted or 2) just the item in the list that is highlighted. The "closest dealer" is stored either as a Favorite or as a POI, depending on how you loaded the dealers. On my GPS, if I need to go to the closest dealer I select Where To and navigate to that dealer entry, then select GO. My GPS asks if I want to make that point a new destination or add it as a Via point. Practice doing this; I think it will become clearer after you try it. Thanks for watching.
