Really appreciate your review/comparison. I'm on the cusp of switching from Fitbit to some other app. I've used Polar in the past with a chestband but wanted ti explore the other options with more precise information....Nice comparison!

Thank you! Right now Garmin is expanding what is possible on the fitness, health, and wellness front. They might be the one to really consider.

I been having a hard time , because Garmin gives me great connectivity because the ANT + specially if you have a Samsung phone they have built in ant + But polar has a more user friendly. The color scheme somehow makes it more intuitive to use. I think I’ll stick around with my grid x

what device was used with the Garmin app? I'm thinking about getting the 245. Would that provide all of the data that you cover in this video?

I like polar flow. Easy summarize with less clicks. My favorite is recovery and activities in %. Garmin Watch and polar flow together. That would my dream combination.

I just have the Polar H10 with strap and I see all the colored detail regarding stress Zones. Not sure why you do not see the colored zones in this video. I love Polar as all you need is the H10 Strap and you have everything you need for training. Not really sure you need a watch as your daily activity really won't change from day to day. I had the Garmin watch for sleep tracking but its totally incorrect as I had it in the kitchen drawer and it still gave sleep data which is impossible. I heard the Vantage V Titan has great sleep tracking but not sure I need it as I know when I'm good enough to train or should rest.

Hey! And great question. You can get the colors to show on the Beat app, but for me if syncing to Flow app it doesn’t come through, but that may be because I’m linking a watch to Flow primarily. And the Vantage line all around or the Ignite will show good sleep insights, not just the Titan. Good points all around.

I plan to buy Polar H9 with strap but i need to use Polar flow app or on PC. May i know Polar H9 can or cannot connecting with Polar flow or Only Polar beat and sync data to Polar flow .
@fitgearhunter4 жыл бұрын
KARNUNG CHITPAN hey! Great question. I believe it is best to use Polar Beat and then wait for the sync to occur to Polar Flow. I don’t believe you can directly connect and track a workout from a stand-alone heart rate strap to Flow. Thanks!

I got the H10 how does polar flow detect sleep? Do i need to buy a watch?
@fitgearhunter4 жыл бұрын
SixthBrightestStar hey! Yes unfortunately all of the sleep tracking is done via a watch. The chest strap is good for tracking the workouts, but doesn’t serve for the other components. Thanks for asking!

Hallo. Kann Man auch die pulsmesser polar h10 einfach nur über Bluetooth mit seinem Handy verbinden, und auf dem Handy die Herzfrequenz, Sauerstoffsättigung, Blutdruck und Kardiogramm sehen?

Garmin connect is pretty poor compared to Polar flow. Yes I ave used both
@yassine48484 жыл бұрын
i have used both platforms in parallel for a very long time and i really have to say that Polar Flow gives very accurate values and presents much more reliable information than Garmin. Garmin provides a lot of information even too much but the data is not usable.

@@yassine4848 Could you help me to import data from Garmin to polar? I tried adding some activities manually but it's not the same. Thanks!

Creating Interval Workouts works 10x better with garmin connect. A very important buy decision for me. In polar flow you are restricted to only 20 exercises. And you can edit them only on Deskop View and not in the App. Even in the Desktop App the interval editor is very poor and lacks features. So for example if your Hiit workout contains 10 exercises with rest in between plus warmup and cool down phase, you simply can't do that. Really Polar? Tell me just one reason to restrict this. This is absolutely unacceptable. In garmin you have preset phases for rest, warmup, cool down. In Flow you always need to create a new phase for every rest and type manually. It's not possible to copy and paste previously created phases. I mean: why???

Unbelievable that you actually value clicking layers and layers of depth in Connect's menus more than the simplicity and well thought out insightful data of Flow. I don't want data to hinder my training and recovery analysis - I value to the point simplicity as presented in Polar Flow rather than drilling through drawers of data - to what end? Competing in the Olympics? Having viewed some of your other reviews, your imbalanced positive bias towards Garmin is crystal clear. Downvoted and unsubbed.
