Thanks for the video. The path in UltraTrac mode seems visually too short, but the distance is still quite accurate. That is helpful.

Excellent setting for multi day long distance nav. If you want to see the route at minute intervals. That's a gps point every 50yds.

Hi. Yet another very informative video. Thing if I’m going to be doing a technical walk gps would be the way to go. Keep up the work. Cheers 👍🏻 🏴

How can one desensitize the GPS warning signals when one is 'off' the plottet course? Instead of warning every few seconds, due to it thinking that one is off course, but one is simply on the left-side or the right-side of the road, but still the same correct road. Can one turn those warning signals off or slow them down after only one is say 10 meters off course? Thanks in advance and keep up the lovely tips.

Ultra Tracks are usually beginnig with 50miles ... so your comparison is a little bit awkward ;-) Thank you anyway

Yeah this isn't too useful. The thing I'm wondering about is how good the fixes are when it's only turning on once a minute, since GPS usually takes several seconds to "warm up" and will be most accurate when it can constantly track satellites. And I have no idea if they have some special GPS firmware that tries to refresh ephemerides every few hours. The second comparison sort of shows where the ultratrac deviated off of the actual track in at least one place, but the more obvious way to look at it would be to just pull the GPX files for each track into a map viewer on top of each other. (well, obvious to me at least. this new crowd of GPS users seem to be mostly "fitness enthusiasts" rather than map-oriented people)
