Excellent information! Quick question: I currently have a gpsmap 5212, GSD22, xHD2 radar, gps antenna and Airmar 744triducer. Will an additional gpsmap mfd in the n2k backbone and network such as 744sxv, integrate well with all my current components? Would like to keep using the 5212 until I can upgrade that mfd later. And also have all functions in both older 5212 and new mfd. Thanks

I’ve got the 1042xsv and have been looking to connect Yamaha’s command link interface to it. Is it possible without the j1939 port?
