With the new Wifi capability on the gen2 can you have a graph on the bow hooked up to livescope share the livescope image to the console via wifi connection? Or do you have to network them all together still to do this?

Hey guys, sonar can be shared. Livescope cannot be shared. So if you have Livescope and multiple units, you'll need to get the GMS 10 Garmin Marine network expansion module

@@InDepthSonar If I'm running the lvs12 can I plug it directly to the 106sv and network LiveScope wirelessly to the 93sv and connect the gt54 to the 93 and wirelessly network it's signal to the 106 or would I need a network cable to share the feeds to and from each unit?

I would say yes, because Garmin says a Livescope will not share wirelessly. The days from the GT54 will wirelessly share

Do the units have better screen resolutions themselves as in the echo map 106 resolution is leaps and bounds above the 93 uhd1, not interested in the transducers

I have Solix G2 graphs and a Garmin EcoMap 106sv and LiveScope LVS 34. I’d like to go all Garmin but have their transducers caught up with Humminbird Mega for sonar, side and down imaging?

The 106 on sale with the gt54 is/was $999. If I understand right, the “new” 106 for $2200 has a gt56, wireless way points, new user interface, better maps, unclear if different processor? Making sure I understand. Thanks

Echomap Ultra106sv with GT54 transducer for $999 at big box stores (limited sale price btw) ECHOMAP Ultra 106sv GN+ with GT56 Transducer is $2,149.99. The main difference for the Garmin ECHOMAP Ultra 106sv GN+ with Transducer model is the Navionics + mapping (unlimited updates for 1 year) and the GT56 Transducer has better side imaging. Here’s hoping you can answer a question or two. I now have a Cobia dual console and there is no room on the dash for a 94 so I’m stuck with the 74. I JUST bought the 74sv UHD2 but it’s bundled with a GT54 transducer and it always is. You can however get a 94sv UHD2 with either the GT54 or GT56 transducer as a bundle. Is there a reason the GT56 is not bundled with the smaller 74sv AND should I take it back and pay the premium to buy the GT56 and the 74sv separately? Boy I hope that makes sense.

Hello Lawren, any inkling as to whether Garmin will come out with their own 360 and also target lock? Both things would want to be hard mounted to the Force trolling motor.

Quick question. Did they change out the processor? They're going from 10 year old resolution to 10 year old resolution. It'd be nice if they would update the processors and make it more responsive.

Not sure if there was a processor change. If you want the fastest Garmin go with the GPSMAP 8600 units

In general, the TI units are faster in response to inputs. This is seen when quickly switching between sonar, downscan, chart, and split screens kzbin.infoUgkxeAxH15LxhjGlg5-CRYqjTGTEH0tbY4vk recommend The Hook units will show some lag on button pushes and screen switching. The big ticket item though is maps. If you install a mapping card such as Navionics or the free C-Map Genesis which has a lot of map detail, then moving around the map with the cursor or when running down the lake can lag significantly on the Hook units, but is seamless with the TI units.
