It does not need a phone, internet or data. It will work on its own, but it’s tough to use as the mapping is small on the watch. But it is totally doable. Thanks for watching and the comment, take care.

Can you use this navigation on the water? I was on a jetski today and we wanted to go down a few smaller sections but I want to see if this would work on a canal/river?

Hi Paul. I don’t think you can. I’m not even sure if you can with the app. Call garmin they are very helpful, they will be able to answer that question for you. I know you can pin a location and the watch will guide you there. But I don’t think you can add a street address. Thanks for watching and the comment, take care.

Looks like the bezel is chipped on the top edge.... Is it easily scratched or chipped?
