I was planning on getting the garmin, but my shop said there has been lots of issues with them. They said the Burris is a better sight. So I’ve been doing my research, and the Burris is definitely going to be what I purchase. Once my rx7 ultra comes in I’ll be buying that sight.

I bought the Burris in 2019 when it came out. It's been amazing and an absolute game changer. It don't carry a range finder anymore and it's awesome Yes it doesn't like fog No side bar here... Revolt X (33" ata) shoots lights out to 70 yards no problem. Do not have to shoot to 60 yd to sigh it in. Laser setup at 10 yards Set your 20 yd pin Shoot at 31 yd. Shoot again at 42 yd (11 yard increments) Done.

The oracle 2 had me sight in to 60 before it functioned. I shoot the revolt X as well, can't imagine not having a side bar on it, if Id stuck with it. Thats a bunch of weight, Id imagine a shooter could very well get used to it though.

@Chestthumperoutdoors Saw the setup video they released. On the Oracle 2 you have the option to setup 4 ranges, but you only need to do the first two. You can just hit the button and back out after the first two.

Dude I am so glad you did this. I own the Garmin xero A1, the A1i pro, and the first Burris Oracle. The Burris is WAY easier to set up. The trigger and range finder is hands down better. Down fall is the trigger is easy to bump and turn on. As you said, the clutter in the housing is bad. That's actually why I bought a Garmin. The Garmin has more bells and whistles. The clear housing is awesome. The pro has micro adjust knobs which help a ton. Here's my issues, the dang reticle alignment is a damn nightmare. It is WAY to hard to see the arrows telling you which way to adjust. I tried everything to see this better. As of today, I sent my pro back. The range finder was not true. It was showing crazy ranges. All in all the Burris is barebones like you said. Hard to see stuff with the clutter in the housing, but hands down a way better sight for deer hunting.

I prefered the burris over the garmin no doubt. I shouldve touched on the arrows for sighting in. They are a giant PIA! Thank you for watching amd your input!

@@Chestthumperoutdoors You bet. Great review. I thought I was the only one having trouble seeing the dang arrows. Lol

Can either one see thru a see thru blind? Low light?
@Chestthumperoutdoors29 күн бұрын
It wouldnt work through blind material. They would both be solid in low light
@doncaruso19493 жыл бұрын
The Garmin you better have a pre sighted in back up sight in case something happens. But the Burris has a back up built in with the twenty yàrd pin,Garmin has no back up.

Thats a fact! Even with the size difference I prefer the burris myself!

I bought the Garmin when it first came out. I didn’t run a front stabilizer at all. I didn’t care for it now I’m back to a regular site.

Someone needs to come out with one that bridges the gaps between the two of them

Preferably at a lot less weight. I use the EZV personally though and don't foresee myself changing anytime soon.

Great review. I was leaning towards the Burris and now, that’s definitely what I’m gonna go with.

Cool video m8. Have the garmin... getting the burriss. Need the longer range availability of it for shooting heavy slow arrows

One downside to both is that several states don't allow them..

these seem cool, but for me the reliability of a stationary 3 or 4 or 5 pin in the woods makes it the best option for me.

Thats the down side of any tech related sight. Always the possability of hardware or software issues
@FlyinZX10R Жыл бұрын
Too bulky and heavy. Maybe when the technology comes to make them smaller and lighter. Their crossbow sight is big too but at least it’s on a rifle type platform where it won’t lean to one side. I just heard that Burris offers a huge law enforcement/ military discount, like 55%.

My biggest complaint about both sights is exactly what you said. They are giant.
