Hey mate thank you for these videos. I'm wanting to install a Garmin GPS myself. I was hoping to get hold of the 2 pin connector. I tried your earlier eBay link but it comes back as an error. I don't suppose you could give me a description to search please?

How many aux power supplies are behind the screen ? My bike has the multi media system installed and I'd like to connect my garmin xt up aswel same as you've done but un sure if I can as from what I've read online there's only aux 12v supply behind there and I think the multi media system uses it ????

I believe the multimedia system uses a different connection. Just take the sceen off and have a look, you will see this connection as soon as you do.

@@koalakoncepts I did take the screen and cover off a few weeks ago when I fitted a shade over the screen and didn't see a spare aux 12v , I'll take another look tomorrow and hopefully see it ? If not then I'm using the USB instead lol

Well thats definitely the next best option, otherwise its running cables under the tank to the battery.

​​@@koalakoncepts there's is 1 aux power supply left in there for the sat nav , wired it in earlier ,just got to wait for the adventure spec uk sat nav mount to be on sale tomorrow and get it ordered ASAP now👍 if you haven't got the multimedia part it's also a good little feature with the turn by turn connected to.your phone aswel in the event of your sat nav getting damaged after a fall 👍👍

@@Rust_valley_adventures oh nice you found it. Get the Evotech-performance bracket, it’s adjustable. Adventure spec will only stuff you around.

Check the fuse, depending how you connected it the wires might have touched with the ignition on, then blew the fuse. Its easy to change, in the fuse blocks under the seat.
