Quincy Dowling If you like over the top silliness and very vibrant animations and colors, yes you should. If you enjoyed Gurren Lagen, you'll love KLK, its from the same author so you can expect the same thing. It has its emotion moments, just like any shounen anime. Also skimpily clad anime women so there's that too lol. But yes, you should try it, but don't have expectations for it from the hype, because that will ruin it. Its a series you need to go into with a completely clear and blank slate and just enjoy it for the crazy, silly ride it is.

Song choice is usually really good, but the main reason i like them better is because it showcases a lot more of the plot than it does in the first opening. The amazing new visuals and great new song make for epic openings! very much like Kill la Kill.

I started watching it a few months ago, and this anime is simply terrific. I love fast paced animes for lots of reasons. Multiple humor, weird random scenes (Mako) and just plain good action mixed in with drama, edginess and humor. Great soundtrack, too. Currently my favorite anime right now.

The saddest and most emotional moment in the entire anime being when a 17-year-old girl falls through the atmosphere naked due to her sailor uniform burning off right after she killed her mother who was actually an alien sewing cultist all along is very representative of Kill La Kill and Trigger in general

Kill la kill entered into the list of anime that I have seen with a backsound theme that is very fitting with every every scene so that it creates a feeling of animating like dissolved in the anime. ragyo, satsuki kiryuin, board of the elite four, ryuko, nudist beach. all have their own unique backsound and it fits the aura of each character

I've been really getting into what these two are doing, and it's really something fresh and interesting for me. I like the music and production work that Toku does on their songs, and MARiA has a wonderful voice--I also like that she sings in a lower register than the typical J-pop girly singer. Like the girls who front Ironbunny, which makes their vocals warmer and more approachable for the average American listener. Though I have been known to appreciate the classic J-pop chipmunk attack sound, of course! "avra K'Davarah" is easily my favorite GARNiDELiA song, though--Ririchiyo dancing to that song and doing MARiA's choreography really well was what made me a fan in the first place.

I like how even the music video, in a way, is sorta like Kill la Kill. The scene where she's standing on that platform with all the wires? Those can be interpreted as clothing fibers, or, Life Fibers. The ending of the MV is a veeeery obvious nod, with the red Life Fiber going into her back. Damn, I love stuff like this. Really drives in that she appreciates this song being linked to KlK.

I don’t care if nobody sees this but god DAMN KILL LA KILL WAS PERFECT!!! It had gorgeous messages and good character designs. It toyed with the heart strings (life fibers if you will), it gave powerful moments when they were needed. All the characters were designed really well. There wasn’t a single character that I really didn’t like. I loved Ryuko and Mako. I LOVED the Mankanshoku family. The Elite four were designed flawlessly especially Gamagoori and Sanegayama. Nui was introduced at a great time with plenty of plot behind her. She was cutesy and TERRIFYING HOLY CHRIST!!! Rip arms. Satsuki got under your skin in the beginning but that made it all the more heartwarming to see her develop as a character! The soundtrack was so good!!! I’ve listened to literally every KLK song out there. Even the instrumental OST. I honestly don’t even want a second season because the first season concluded everything beautifully. It made me cry to see Mako, Ryuko, and Satsuki walk around at the end. Senketsu was so well created. The art style and fight scenes made me forget about the fan service and get immersed in the badass scenes where Ryuko fought the elite four. I was so sad when Ryuko met Nui and went all monster beserk. I was saying in my head over and over “please I want Ryuko back GIVE HER BACK MONSTER!” In conclusion, I’m buying Kill La Kill IF.

MssBarbaritaa I'm not going to argue that Kill La Kill wasn't a great and entertaining show, but it definitely should not be considered one of the best. The animation was flawed at times and the first half could have been spent way better in terms of building up the story and characters. However, most of the action scenes were well done and fun to watch.
