Ok so I did quite a bit of Yapping this episode trying to figure out this whole Absalom and Moria thing lol At the end of the reaction you can see I went to google to confirm stuff about Absalom and apparently he's actually done for because Shiryu does have his Devil fruit. I'm just going to wait to see the next few episodes to get a clearer picture of what's actually going on lol Pardon my yapping.

Blackbeard killed Absalom, and Shiryu took his fruit. Moria then came to save Absalom, but he was too late and then was imprisoned. Perona left Mihawk when she learned that Moria was alive after Marineford and came to rescue him. These happened between the Wano Country acts

We know that during the incident Koby, Law, and Blackbeard all had a temporary alliance and fought one of Xebec's old crewmembers. This is also when Law stole the 100 hearts from pirates to become a Warlord and when Blackbeard took over the Pirate Island.

@@chetan526 ​ Chapter 700 we find out that Law was the person behind the Rocky Port incident which eventually made him a Warlord (we only knew that he stole 100 pirate hearts before this). Chapter 903, Kyros recognizes Koby as the Hero of the Rocky Port incident and thanks him for saving the civilians and stuff which is what he got his title "Hero of the Marines" for. Chapter 1059, Blackbeard talks about how Koby did him a huge favor at Rocky Port allowing him to defeat Ochoku (Former Rocks pirate) and take Hachinosu for himself. I realize that maybe they didn't have an alliance like how the Straw Hats had one with Law and the Wano Samurai but they were definitely all helping each other out at the island. Apologies for the long message hope this clears it up a bit for you!

Y'all mentioned that you're seeing different scenaries during Egghead and you're spot on. Normally we see the Strawhats adventures in full and then we get glimpses of other peoples journeys between the Strawhats major arcs, which signifies something big is building off screen. But this is the first arc where we're seeing the other journeys fleshed out more in the middle of the Strawhats journey, which signifies what's going on in Egghead is bigger than the other characters journeys.

They became depressed and negative because of her power and was just saying negative statements. It has nothing to do with Absalom or Moria. Presumably Moria is alive cause Perona is here for him but Absalom is for sure dead because Shiryu has his fruit which can only happen if the person is dead.

Well, first you have to die I presume, and then they can take your fruit (Whitebeard was already dead when BB took his fruit so we know for sure that's at least one of the options) -Edit: We only saw how it works 1 time when WB was already dead, so we know that is a confirmed method. However, we don't know if BB can extract the fruit from a person if that person is still alive, like you said

- Love that the start where we see Perona get the keys is actually an extended scene because in the manga we just saw her in front of Koby’s cell in one panel, but boy Koby is a 5 Star thus making him like Usopp in Dressrosa with a bounty of 500,000,000 Berries / Yen = $ 3,260,621.50 - We get a few more reveals of the Blackbeard Pirates Devil Fruits which we get Avalo Pizarro has the Shima Shima no mi (Shima means “island”) / Isle-Isle Fruit (seems like a stronger version of Pica’s Stone-Stone Fruit), Vasco Shot has the Gabu Gabu no mi (gabugabu is the Japanese onomatopoeia for gulping down a drink & gabunomi is a noun referring to action) / Glub-Glub Fruit, & Sanjuan Wolf a giant that has the Deka Deka no mi (Dekai means “huge” but also Deka a metric prefix for tenfold) / Huge-Huge Fruit which can make him grow to his maximum height of 180 m / 590'6" & we kind of knew this with his Vivre Card data said that he had a Paramecia the makes him bigger but this is where we get the official name, but this just leaves Laffitte the only member left with an unknown fruit - Kujaku (voiced by Marina Inoue) a Rear-Admiral member of SWORD, has the Muchi-Muchi no mi / Whip-Whip Fruit, granddaughter of Vice Admiral Tsuru, actually first appeared in the cover story “Gang" Bege's Oh My Family” of Ch.966, hobbies are taming others & making sweets, & her name means “peacock” which some other female characters are named after birds like Tsuru = crane

So Garp is not the leader of the SWORD unit, but he also acts with it. It is quite possible that he is part of Sword and has a high rank. It is still uncertain whether he is a leader of it or not. X-Drake is also a captain of the Sword unit, but that does not mean that he is the leader. X-Drake just has higher command authority over the normal Sword units.

@@markfoshee4768 Aside from the normal ranks in the Marines, there is a chance that they have other ranks in Sword, but they are not as important as their normal ranks. X-Drake was also a Rear Admiral in the Marines before he became a pirate. Here it is easy to say that X-Drake "gave up" his normal Marine status to work secretly in Sword. As part of a pirate, he can, for example, infiltrate a Yonko crew to get information out. And as we already know, Sword members have free options to get their actions without permission from above.
