I have rebuilt a few bikes myself, only 600s, can’t find a 1000 project yet. But I just wanted to say, your attention to detail and how thoroughly you clean things; and repair and refinish instead of replacing, is top tier. I actually kind of hate you lol because you make me feel so inadequate because you are extremely meticulous and very good at what you do and I’m just not that detailed. How do you know these bikes so good? Have you studied Service books or that's experience? 2. How to clean (white) plastic from rust that came from rusted bold (that holds windscreen)? 3. Looks good! What are you using to clean the electronics next to the airbox and isnt there a risk of destroying the electronics by soaking them in water/soap or whatever?

no nothing because after soap and water i use compressed air to blow out the water and then break cleaner to spray out any left over

How do you organize the bolts so that you know what goes where, also what tool kit do you have to do this kind of work? I dont have a bike yet but because of where I'm from I most likely will have to service it myself and do other small repairs when I actually do get one watching guys like you and RK motorsports really inspires me to get on and work on 2 wheels. Where do you sell the bikes that you rebuild? My friend just crashed his 2009 R1. Basically the front end of the bike is completely gone. How much would that cost to fix? I doubt that the frame or the engine is damaged, but definitely the forks, front fairings, and sides are messed up.
