Garrett... First of all we love your episodes. Since we discovered Diggin SoCal, its one of our favorites to watch on KZbin. Shortly after I retired from the fire service a few years back, I had to have open heart surgery. I am doing great now and I have been thinking about learning more about the metal detecting communities. I think this would be a great way for us to get some much needed exercise. So I would like to thank you both for all the inspiration to just get out and enjoy being outside enjoying the hobby. Thanks again and please keep posting the beach hunt videos.

I love two miles from the beach here in Florida and have been watching and learning to metal detector but have not bought a metal detector yet. I would love to start with the Garrett Ace 300. Thank y’all for all the great videos, I truly enjoy them!

I actually started out detecting a little over 3 years ago with a CSI 250 Garrett detector and I did find a lot of gold with it! But, then it kind of stopped working properly and I bought a Minelab Equinox 600 which I still use today. Believe it or not my 84-year-old mother-in-law loves walking with me when I detect sometimes and she would love to have her own detector! This Garrett 300 would be perfect for her. ❤ Great video!!

Bill I would love the garrett. I am 70 and have only used a bounty hunter 4, getting where I can get out more now and the BH4 is gone. It did last a long time. I watch every video you guys make and love them.

Looks like the Garrett is a good machine. I have an old old area where a one room schoolhouse once stood..it would be fun to check it out. I know the kids were poor, but you never know what might show up. Thanks for the giveaway!! Have fun on your trip, Bill !!!

Wow I could use this Detector with the Sniper coil I have for the ace250. Notching these detectors are fun and you can cherry pick very well with it. I used the 250 and notched every thing out but coins and nailed it.. Smacking a ring at the end Wicked.. Keep up the Fun and Happy Hunting. Peace

I’ve used the Ace 200 for over 5 years and love it! I’m out twice a week and the batteries are long lasting as well. I do a fair amount of beach hunting and have no issues with the salt water sand. I have found well over 100 rings! I do have an equinox 800 as well but I find it very chirpy and I’m not as fond of that machine. Good luck to whoever wins the Ace!

Great review of the Garrett detector. My grandson would love to have a detector like this. He's gone out detecting with me a few times - and loves it - but his Bounty Hunter just isn't accurate enough. Thanks again for sharing the information.

I've hunted for years with that machine. Get a pair of the easy stow headphones. They are cheap and have volume control. You will be a lot happier hunting in the jewelry mode! Love your videos!

Constructive comment. I have a Garrett ace 250 with a 13 inch coil super lite detector. Can detect stuff 3 plus feet down in the ground. Easy to buy aa batteries rechargeable is the best. Plus a ear buds for the sounds

My oldest grandson has the Ace 250 so he can go detecting with me. FYI - the volume is not adjustable on the machine. You have to plug in the headphones and the sound adjustment can be made there. Great video test of the Garrett Ace 300!
