Do you know the reference of the garret turbo which fit the TMD 22? Regards. eric

Sorry Eric I can’t remember writing down any particular reference number but it’s a standard part. At the service centre they usually have a list of turbos that go with particular engine and as the TMD series is so ubiquitous I’m sure they’ll know.

Did the engine speed go up after cleaning the turbine carbon? Does it emit black smoke when the turbine is running at high speed because of the carbon buildup? My boat has similar problem.

Well it was running below par before this and went back to normal afterwards, so I wouldn't say it sped up, but it definitely improved things!
