ㅤ I Played Skate 3 for 11 YEARS Without Knowing This... In the 11 years that I've been on and off playing Skate 3, I NEVER and I mean NEVER once touched the replay editor. Why? I don't know. I just never did. Thanks to you guys on stream, you finally showed me how to use the replay editor and actually get kind of realistic clips, which is the COOLEST feeling after playing Skater XL for so long. For the past couple days I've pretty much been streaming nothing but Skate 3, so let me know what kind of Skate 3 content you guys want to see!

Oh, you're still reading the description? That's kinda weird. I guess I'll tell you a bit about myself. My name is Garrett Ginner, I like skateboarding, playing video games, and having fun. I have my main channel where I post vlogs and that kinda stuff, and I decided to start this channel because I've always had a love for playing video games. you can create a deathlens by having 2 keyframes next to each other. the 1st zoomed all the way out, the 2nd one zoomed all the way in. after the 2nd keyframe your camera will turn into a even wider lens. you set another keyframe there and delete the other ones. from there on you kan keep the deathlens for all the other keyframes you will set in your timeline.

Cheat codes in Skate 3 for garrett to try out in a video! (all in lower case 😉) 1,2 and 4 are the most fun ones too try out in my opinion! 1. miniskaters - Everyone becomes tiny with a big head, feet, and arms 2. mcfly - Trucks and wheels are removed from boards, so they appear to hover. This is only a visual effect 3. deadspacetoo - Unlocks Isaac Clarke from the Dead Space series as a playable character 4. zombie - Adds a zombie light effect, while all pedestrians mimic zombie movements and will attack you 5. streetsweeper - Resets all movable objects to their original positions 6. dontbesomayo - Unlocks Miracle Whip sponsored clothing and objects

Little tip for fisheye effect: if you put the zoom on the free cam to the maximum on a marker and the next marker zoom to the minimum your next marker will be a perfect fisheye

If you do a nollie inward heel and land on your back tail it’ll bone your tricks out. You can also do this with a few other tricks to give you different styles

if you would want a wider fisheye, you should: 1. place two keyframes right besides each other, the first being zoomed in a bit, the second one on 24mm. 2. place a third keframe after those, it will be zoomed out more. 3. delete First 2 keyframes, select and deselect that 3rd keyframe 4. the keyframes you place after that should stay zoomed out, and have a more deathlens effect

The way footwork is in skate 3 like flicking, feet position, timing, and just the overall look of the way tricks are done are more realistic than skater XL

to get the deathlens (or a good fisheye) (at least for me) you could get your zoom to 75 mm then back to 24 mm, then a glitch would happen that the camera's zoom would get smaller than usual (like smaller than 24 mm to even 10 mm) and it would look like a deathlens

hey Garrett you can make the fisheye lens a bit wider, look up “super wide lens skate 3” on youtube and theres good tutorials

You can make the fisheye lens 10mm if you zoom right in - set a key frame - then zoom right out for the next keyframe and the game will continue zooming the lens till it's 10mm.

you can get a real fisheye effect in skate 3. when you start your clip zoom all the way in, after that make another key frame right after but zoom all the way out. after that forward the clip a little and you will get a fisheye effect which you can use

Garrett if you increase/decrease the lens distance (24mm + or 120mm-) you can create a fish-eye effect. You will need to add camera scope and vignette effect in post. See fish-eye effect in Skate 3 tutorials

Fun fact, if you want a fisheye lens, zoom in ALOT on the first keyframe then all the way out on the next one. Then the next keyframe you place will be at 10mm instead of 24. Try to place one on 11mm. Looks the most realistic. Then remove the first two, and BOOM you have a fisheye lens

Tip: when the skater goes up try not to angle the camera up and try to keep it straight as much as possible without the abrupt change in camera angle, unless thats what youre going for. Personally, this has helped me improve alot in my filming

More content to see? A Skate 3 edit perhaps? Also, dunno if you can still do this in the game, but I remember making a keyframe with a zoomed in lens (higher than 24mm), another keyframe with a zoomed out lens (at 24mm), then making a new keyframe past the two keyframes you just made that should be at like 10mm to get the proper fisheye lens. I hope it helps!

To get more of a fisheye effect, in the replay editor put a marker zoomed in and the next marker, make it zooming out. Once if gets almost zoomed out, PAUSE and edit the marker and it should be a lower mm fish eye

If you want better fisheye you have to put keyframe on the very first second and put it on 75mm then the next keyframe have to be 24 mm and there you go you have 10mm fisheye

There's a glitch in the replay editor that allows you to get a 10mm fisheye. Look up a tutorial on YT, it's really easy!

You can get a super zoom with a glitch, all you do is at the beginning put a key frame all the way zoomed out put another key frame alittle in front of it all the way zoomed in and go towards the end and it’ll be super zoomed! If that makes since.... I’m sure there’s a yt vid for the glitch lol
