I've been a fan of Keillor's and Dave's for decades. I had no idea the two ever intersected! Thank for uploading! It's remarkable to hear Keillor's voice from this era. It hadn't quite matured into the confident, relaxed baritone I've become so familiar with. ☺

I'm really glad this stuff is on youtube.. I listen frequently for nostalgia and the past when life appeared better. Listened for Decades, made some of his shows..with this current world its neat to shut out the world and be younger, if only in my mind

We always ate tacos when we listened. His voice will always remind me of Saturday nights with the family.

Garrison Keillor in that song, just expressed the exact reason for my love of the Late Night with David Letterman show in the 80's. Of course I was in my teens but it didn't change in my twenties either.

Salute to Garrison Keillor! ❤️ I first encountered the show back in this era and listened weekly for decades! For both PHC and Letterman, THOSE WERE THE DAYS!

Garrison is now one of my favorite entertainers, and my favorite American novelist, but if I had seen this in '83, when I was 13, it would have put me to sleep.

He was excused after the me too movement, but he's not lost.

Keillor had a knack for singing that 1930s honky tonk, folk music sound.

Never heard of the guy before but I remember that movie with the prairie home companion.

Garrison seems more "himself" (his on-air persona) that he did on his previous spot (Feb. '83). He also has the red sock habit by now.

If Jack Black doesn't do a Garrison movie, our lives are less good.
