That's what I liked about Garrosh. He made mistakes, but he had his convictions...things *other than himself* that he valued and he fought for them. And he stands by his decisions, even in death. The problem with Sylvanas is that Blizzard wants to have their cake and eat it too. They want her to be the super evil, cackling, megadeath doomqueen of hopelessness and they also want her to be the blameless princess who we're supposed to feel sorry for. They could've make a cutscene with him where he smashes his way into the Jailer's raid unexpectedly, attacking him without noticing Thrall or anyone in the raid, to have him the unintentional redemption arc like his father Grom. But instead he gets wiped by the trash mob just like Vol'jin. Another waste of character.

nah Garrosh doesn't fit into a redemption arc, the whole "I would proudly make again" fits him, but the fact that is all he does in the entire of Shadowlands is disappointing. Plus the cinematic could have used some extra work but w/e I guess.

I would've used him in a way where he would've been around to kill Ner'zhul, going at his own pace without the raid, screaming at Thrall "GET OUT OF MY WAY!". I like the idea of Garrosh basically suicide-bombing himself on a boss, but that boss should've been someone known like Ner'zhul, Kel'thuzad, Sylvanas or the Jailer. I mean, who the f@ck is Dormazain? I mean... to me, the *ONLY* viable reason to bring Garrosh back in Shadowlands in any capacity was to have even just ONE interaction with Thrall. I would've made Garrosh sacrifice himself knowingly in his own terms after screaming "THRALL, YOU BETTER FINISH THIS OR I WILL COME BACK FROM WHEREVER I'M GOING, AND I WILL BREAK YOUR WEAKLING BACK, COWARD!" Same with Ner'zhul. The guy has been around since freaking Warcraft 2 in 1996! And they throw him like this? Of all the bosses in that raid, I'm sorry for Ner'zhul. His story has always been so tragic, he also deserved a short cinematic.

Revendreth could potentially have changed his soul, if the Venthyr had done what the Accuser did with Kael'thas, but Denathrius kept using him as a battery, only to then dump him into the Maw as another gift to the Jailer. But the fact that not even the Jailer's head torturer could break Garrosh, is a testament to his incredible willpower. Good or bad, Garrosh was a badass til the end.

Oh course. Since MoP, Thrall has been a traitor, a cheater, a pacifist, a hypocrite and ultimately, a weakling. The fanboys won't admit it, but the last truly decent thing he did was help Sylvanas take back the undercity during Wrath.

He reestablished the Horde from its fallen ways, built a respectable and inclusive Horde, made a better future both a possibility and a reality for the Horde and for the Orcs, found a way to defeat Deathwing and performed the final blow to the Mad Aspect, accepted his flaws, and despite having doubts about himself, he went on and joined Saurfang to end the conflict between the Alliance and the Horde during BFA. That's not something a weakling can ever do. And what did this badass, strong-willed, foolish, and brutish Warchief Hellscream do? Did he lead the Horde to a better place? Does his actions have a commendable legacy? No he does not. He has not done a single good thing at all. And for all of his appearance of strength, he couldn't master himself. He is an unrepentant, foolish scumbag who has no redeeming qualities except for how he awes through his foolish pride. All characters have flaws, but Thrall, Baine, and Voljin have plenty of redeeming qualities. They are actually good people. Garrosh on the other hand, has nothing to boast except his own pride and stubborness, and even that cannot lift him up from being the scumbag he is. Good riddance.
