@@nininelson6108 Yeah I wish I knew that 😭 the only braiders around where I live are Nigerian or some kind of African and so quick story: It was the night before picture day and I wanted to get my hair done and so nothing else was open except for the Nigerian shop and so we went there around like 6:30-7 and we didn’t leave until 11 something for box braids and I was struggling to keep my eyes open and they yanked my head so I wouldn’t go to sleep and they literally kept screaming NO SLEEPING 😭😭😭 never went back there again 😭 so I’ve definitely learned my lesson and im trying to grow it back long enough so I can do a silk press for school so we’ll see how that goes!

Guys help. My hair keeps snapping when I’m detangling. What can I do? I have high density, 4b/c hair. Fine / medium strands. I want my hair to flourish but I, so sad when I feel snags and snaps. Even when I go slow. Also I have lots of single strand knots
@Winniedemux4 ай бұрын
My hair does that too when my ends need to be clipped, Everyone's hair is different but sometimes when the ends are damaged it causes tangling at the ends. I need to do it now bc I could hear the strands popping.🤦🏾♀️😭
@tiredoftheworld48344 ай бұрын
Oil oil and oil. I just realized my hair was dry but I can’t wash it yet bc I’m busy rn. So I added oil by “wicked scents” (for edges), “rosemary mielle” (edges and sides bc it go cut unreasonably short there) and “Jamaican cold pressed castor oil” on the strands! Helped so much and isn’t snapping as much. Feels more versatile Also sometimes you need to add moisture to combat single strand knots. I personally have started partially finger detangling. Moisture doesn’t mean go spray water on it tho, you need a cream/water based leave in conditioner. Aloe vera is a natural option.
