He did not cheat on Sandy. They grew apart because he was always gone. That's when they divorced and he retired. In a way you are both right, and both wrong. He DID actually cheat on Sandy, he admitted to it, ( but not with Trisha, it was with fans. He talks about it in his interview with Barbara Walters. It was a case of bending the performance rules too far. He didn't get with Trisha as a couple until after his divorce from Sandy. Sandy was one of the people he asked permission to marry Trisha, and Sandy did actually bless the marriage, saying it was a good move for him.

I agree Linda. When She first fell in love with Garth. There was no bank account. He wasn't a big star. She encouraged him to follow his dreams, at least one last time. While Garth was chasing his dreams. Sandy was building their home. Garth knew he did Sandy wrong, listen to the song if Tomorrow Never Comes, that was before he got involved with Trisha. I guess Mary is unaware that Trisha was married herself, a few times before Garth, She was married when She got involved with Garth. Because of the class Sandy has. In my opinion, She thought She could trust her Husband. Sandy put her Career on hold, as Garth went traveling. Look up the video of Garth and Trisha singing that song In Anothers Eyes. The one they sang on the late night talk Show. Trisha, herself stated that her and Garth had done a previous video with that song. But when they saw it from the Night Talk Show How. Her and Garth liked that one better. Watch them both, it's not hard to figure out why ? Imagine if your at home, taking care of Your Babies, and your home, encouraging Your Husband, Someone you thought, you could trust. And he goes on a Live, Night time Talk Show. And he sings a duet with Someone, Your Husband keeps telling you. Basically, nothing to worry about, We just co sing together. She's happily married, She's going after her Own Singing Career. Than your watching the Night Talk Show. There's acting, and than there " well you watch it, and if you can say, after seeing that, that you can't tell there is something going on between the two of them " than you need to get better glasses. There was so much talk about that Video, Garth and Trisha had it removed, and they hardly ever sang that song. Why ? Until their Fans saw what was going on, what was a favorite song, was put on the shelf. Mary, how can all these people who were around when Garth was with Sandy and just starting his Career. And Trisha had been married several times, including at the time, when She met Garth. How can We all be wrong on the things, we either read about, heard about or watch in front of Us. Just because they are your favorite, Couple, doesn't mean We have to like them as a couple. As We started out, Garth was a Great Country Singer, the songs he sung back in 1980, until he retired to raise his Daughters . Trisha in my opinion, only had one semi famous song, that was He's in love with the boy. The other song, How do I, Leann Rimes sang it and performed it better. The only reason Trisha sang it, was because the producer of the Movie, the Song was used in. Felt Leann was a little too Young, he wanted someone who had experience in relationships. Leann's version was much more popular. The CMA had Leann sing it, live but gave the award to Trisha, because of the Movie. Your right Trisha is a great Person for a Friend. Research her. Your entitled to your opinion, but those of us who know a little more than you, We're entitled to Our Opinion too. Neither Leann or Sandy ever said anything mean or nasty towards Trisha. This is red is ridiculous that you want to debate someones marriage, because they are your cutest Country Singers. Sandy didn't say anything, according to this report even Garth is shocked by the things Sandy said. Which means as usual Sandy showed how classy of a Woman She is, and how Great of a Mother She is.

Dont care about what he did in his personal life. He was my favorite artist in the 90s when i was a kid. I had all his tapes (yes before everything was on CD) leading up to "Seven" and knew the lyrics to about 95% of his songs. Even went to his show when he went to Texas Stadium. I was about 4 or 5. Mom said ppl were looking at me dumbfounded cuz a 4 or 5 yr old was singing along with every song. We bought the VHS tape of his other concert he did in Texas a few days later. I watched the shit out of that video. I would do anything to actually meet him.

Same here. When I was a kid and I was doing good in school or what-have-you, my father would take me to HMV to pick a GB tape I didn't have (my first was Ropin' The Wind). @Sweep The Leg to answer the question you asked. Yes I am very angry. I am the one people call when a family is destroyed. I have to watch children cry non stop. To see these children suffering pain so traumatic it causes life long mental conditions that also often end up with suicide, habitual drug use, violence, and tons of other things. Destroying a family due to adultery is equal to murder. Accept in this case it is a whole family that dies. So yes, I am very angry.

@@fumblebunny1993 what you told me is amazing and provides the hope needed to fuel the willpower to continue this tragic part of ministry. Wanted to leave you this, Arrested Development syndrome is a blessing because it gave you a gift. A child like heart and the innocence it provides. As written in Mathew 19 13 Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there. Psalms 127 3 Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court. Mark 10 13 People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them. Proverbs 31 25 She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Thank you for this gift, you have no idea how much it was needed. Wanted to bring one thing to your attention also. Only one statistic provides a link among tragedy like divorce does. Most everyone that is in prison, commits suicide, or suffered greatly sue to drugs, prostitution, have one thing in common linking them above all others, they are almost all products of divorced parents due to violence and adultery. This is a very very dark world to these people. Been bringing this to light so the next time people have the self-righteous behavior to look down on a drug user, prostitute, ex con or current etc the are most always products of a broken family. In fact the more divorce has climbed shows more than just a simple trend. Some have argued this is inevitable because the more the divorce rates are the more numbers there are to pad the statistical phenomenon. Meaning some claim due to pure numbers it is so and is not are real effect on matters. I would agree if the majority of divorced families did not encompass a plus majority beyond statistical probability. Meaning if the divorce rate it 55 percent upwards of 90 percent of the victims of divorce are taking up the population in prisons. Almost this follows true once tragic events are segmented. Proving broken families result in the children being incarnated at alarming amounts that far surpass any other statistical data. This is recently being encroached on by the vast numbers of young people that are refusing to get married due to government over reach. These days people are refusing to get married under government law, and opting for a religious ceremony to make the vows. Or refusing to get married at all. It get worse to, now days couples are refusing to have children because of it. It may sound astounding but when young people are refusing to get married and have children we have a HUGE problem.

Back in the late 90's there was a book out about Garth, a scrapbook so to speak and it talked about him having an affair with a person they chose not to identify at the time because she was in the business also. It didn't take much to figure out that this person they were trying to protect was Trisha. They have tried to fool the public in believing that she was an innocent bystander and that she did nothing wrong. You can lie all you want but God knows the real truth. And why all of a sudden are they shoving Trisha in our face, she ain't all that yall!!
@mariocruz62815 жыл бұрын
Missy, the reason Trisha is being thrown in Our Face is because She is in the process of doing another Album. She is trying to restart her Career, now since Garth and Sandy's Daughters are in College. One of them is starting their Own Music Career. In my opinion Trisha seems to be jealous of Carrie Underwood. That's the real reason Garth snubbed Carrie. Carrie doesn't need Trisha or Garth. Trish's album is going to flop just like every other one She tried. Garth is touring again, He'll promote Trisha just like he did previously. Carrie can and will make it on her Own, just like She has been. Trisha will have Garth rescue her, even if he has to buy all her records himself. Like so many other things, the CMA is fixed. How does someone who is just coming back from retirement who got caught lip syncing, hardly did any touring , win Country Music Entertainer of the year award ? We'll see what happens when Trisha's new Album comes out. Trisha is already doing her rounds on talk shows promoting her Album. She even has Kelly Clark son doing a duet with her.

I hope GArth’s first wife received a good financial Divorce settlement . If not , it’s not too late for Garth to be generous and share some of his bounty with her . I was a first wife who contributed to my ex-husband’s success and received little in the divorce . But , my ex-husband who is married to the other woman has helped our adult son and our grandson , without any legal requirements . So, indirectly he has helped me , a little bit. After 24 years with my ex- husband , and him divorcing me , it released me to date other men and live my life on my terms , rather than on his terms . Garth’s first wife probably found her own happiness on her own. I can’t wait to hear what she disclosed in the interview !
@honey-feeney98005 жыл бұрын
Will G1986 usually because the wife puts her career on hold to raise the husband’s kids, she is left the dependent spouse . . Men make 22% more than women. In 24 years of marriage I never cheated because that’s not how I’m made , I guess . I was injured in a car accident in 1990 and took lower paying jobs for the remainder of my nursing career because of injuries . The other driver hit me at a red light . I ENDED up with a 60k settlement. I was foolish not to keep those monies in a separate account . Instead we did repairs to our home, paid for my ex to get his masters degree and he spend 3k making a music CD . When I went ballistic finding the OW in our bedroom , my ex went to county courthouse and filed a bogus PFA, to have control over the house and marital property , and evict me from the home for which my mom supplied 10k for the down payment . Of course the judge threw out the PFA when the only charges he could make was his fear that I might hurt him over his “recent “ actions . The other accusation was that I had depression. My divorce was like a story you’d see on the old “Roseanne” show. Wife of husbands who cheap have a high incidence of depression . So, for all of these reasons , alimony is fair . I let him out with two years alimony and for the next ten years lived my own life in my own terms and have happy memories .
