@@chetatkins8156If people choose to spend their last dollar, that’s on them. He shouldn’t feel bad for making all that money because he earned it doing his job. He was asked a direct question and he answered it. If people stopped being a fan of his for this, then those people need to get a life and weren’t his fans to begin with then. The amount this man does for charities is more than any artist has done ever, not just money wise but he actually goes out and gets his hands dirty to help out. As for Garth, I am a huge fan and have seen him a couple of times. The first time, the 2 hour show ended up being 4 hours long and he didn't stop running!

My husband left me just as he was graduating with his masters degree. I wrote or edited most of his papers, but his new girlfriend hosted his graduation party, celebrating with all his pretentious friends (who I thought were my friends too, turns out I rarely saw any of them again). Anyway, the night I found out the party was going on is the first night I ever heard this song, and started my love of Garth brooks and country music. People would ask me, gee what part of the south are you from. And I’d smirk and tell them, SOUTH BRONX. Oh, and even after 20 years, that girlfriend is in my prayers. She saved my life by stepping in. I started a new career and a business with all I learn from writing master degree level finance papers, and he’s stuck in a dead end job because he could never fake what he never studied for. For the win!

Yep you can truly see the respect both have for each other. We, as fans, might bicker and argue about genres of music but musicians always know and respect each other's talent. As a musician you listen to and respect all genres. Which truly as a music fan I do too. Might have different styles but they are each talented in their own unique way.
