Because Emily Prentiss is one of Garcia's most favorite people I always wanted to see her and Luke Alvez have a talk about Garcia after a case, either in Emily's office or aboard the jet one night while JJ and the others were sleeping. Here's what I thought they would have said: Luke: "I remember when I first saw you saying 'hi' to Garcia she said that having you here was 'a dream come true!'" Emily: "Uh, wait a minute. Are you Reid now?" Luke: (laughing) "No. I actually remember that because that day you inspired me!" Emily: 'I did? How?" Luke: "I want Garcia to one day stop hating me and calling me 'Newbie' and for her to one day hug me just like she hugs you and say 'Luke Alvez, having you in this team/family is a dream come true!'" Emily: "Wow! I didn't know that!" Luke: "When you were a 'Newbie' was she this hard on you?" Emily: "No, not at all. Hotch was the one who was hard on me! But you're wrong. She doesn't hate you. She hates change. Don't ever give up on this inspiration that I've given you. You tried getting Reid protective custody while he was in prison for Garcia, right?" Luke: "Yeah." Emily: "Well, if she can love somebody as stubborn and controlling like me, then she can one day love somebody as sweet and caring as you!" Luke: "Thanks!"

It hurts to see Prentiss in Hotch's office. Obviously she earned that title and she earned the office. It just sting when you don't see the cute little picture of him Jack and Haley and all the law books behind him while he sits looking through case files strewn across his desk with his brow furrowed. You know? It just feels wrong. I wish Prentiss had taken Morgan's office or even JJ's old one.

And they both defo enjoyed that hug a lot😁 as to all ppl commenting on PG being overly mean... I am sure Dr Reid will b able to provide us with a boat load of factoids as to y ppl that have been hurt in the past (i.e. PG) build up defenses when they like someone.
