I think they forgave each other! Two egos that clashes, young, immature, ambitious. Recipe for disaster in a band where one was neglected and one put on a pedestal. Just glad all those years they were mature and man enough to forgive each other and move on!

Sorry for your losses. I lost my twin brother and a beloved cat that was my soulmate animal just 3 months apart from each other in 2023. They both got cancer. I feel a deep emptiness since they died. I know I will never get over losing them both for as long as I live. Again, my heart breaks for you.

Aww savannahs so sorry for your loss I hope your getting through it. I had 5 miscarriages I never met my 5 babies and you can't explain how you feel the devastation of losing 5 babies that you never actually met you don't know what they looked like I was told 3 were boys but no idea about the other 2. I have never got over it it was over 40 years ago and I still have that pain I'm sure I will meet them one day when it my turn to go

Gary, I lost my little son at 38 weeks still birth. He would have been 50 now. Those days were dreadful , I was not allowed to hold my son, not allowed to name him, nobody came to explain anything to me. I sCout in a room adjoining the new born babies, who cried. It was horrendous truly, compared to his they treat mothers of today. I am so sorry for you and your family for the loss you have encountered. To this day I think what my son would be like. My husband was him for a few seconds after I have birth. I was left for one day in the hospital before been taken to Labour ward, where I have natural delivery. My condolence to you and your wife. Gary you are a smashing person really, take care

You’re right about the pain of course, but with me, I learnt to live with it (don’t get me wrong, there was plenty of times when I didn’t want to…I was just lost). So good to hear his realization of the times he was caught up in his show-biz popularity. When I remember seeing him on the musical shows, I thought him to be so good looking and his accent only drew my attention to him more and more each time I'd see him. It's weird though, I felt bad for him to have all this popularity abound around him and yet, I saw him as a more private and reserved person. SO, this interview is what I'm glad I came across here on KZbin!

To those who made averse comments, particulary 'glass half full/empty' i say ... "You have heard many many bands/stars state the same thing, (burn out) therefore it is a'thing' A rolling cluster of snowflakes on the crest of a mountain becomes an avalanche before it hits the valley Fame isnt something that 'just happens, it takes hard graft. When it starts the work gets harder and ever more consuming, and they cant take time out. They know it can disapear in the bat of an eye. Even in old age, 'stars have to continue to grease its wheels or have wasted a lifetimes work. it isnt for us to judge whether the glass is half full/empty, we just need to honour the efforts of the people who gave so much of themselves to bring Beautiful melodies/films/art into being Our lives are enriched by their input. Imagine a world where such people had never existed! No art works, no music,of any description, just noise! Nothing tactile to admire, just tables, buildings earth and sky. We have MUCH to thank Artists for"

Total sympathy for his unimaginable family tragedy, but I think I’ve now heard every member of Take That moaning about the pressure and consequences of success and fame. Same with the Spice Girls. They all won life’s jackpot, and there are millions of struggling performers who’d trade places with them. Would be great to hear a glass half full analysis for a change.
