One of the highlights of the 2011 Levitt Shell season was this performance by Gary Clark, Jr. of Austin, TX. Watch how he busts a string during his soaring guitar solo and never misses a lick.
This historic amphitheater was renovated in 2008 thanks to a generous grant from the Mortimer Levitt Foundation. It is now the site of at least 50 free concerts every year with the goal of building our community through these shared experiences under the stars in Memphis' Overton Park.
