and even your support for him allows his music to be used today in movies or other band's songs so he can make millions of pounds. do you think he is going to spend that money on the children he abused ? nope. he's going to spend the money you helped him gather on abusing more kids. your actions have consequences.

Lucky you! saw GG and The Glitter band on their own so many times in the 70's.. despite all that happened afterwards that was the soundtrack to my youth, the reason I became a drummer and eventually had a 30 year career as a sound engineer, so I owe them a lot.

Sadly, yes, but not for the Glitter Band in their own right. I feel the same way about those TOTP's that Jimmy Saville hosted (him being around youngsters on the show, knowing now what he was up to, makes your skin crawl) and anything including Rolf Harris, he was part of so much childrens TV in the 60's and 70's and now the truth has come out we all realise what we saw on TV wasn't even close to the person he really was - it's a kind of betrayal of trust.

This is an interesting concert video from the past - just found two quality, live concert video's of Suzi Quatro in Japan and in Eastern Europe, from the same time period - and The Osmond's live in concert filmed at The Ohio State Fair ( USA) from 1972.

What a modest presentation of the backing band. But Gary always needed the full spotlight on himself, so there was no idea of using drum risers to have the two drummers more visible. This is a shame because this concert included songs, such as Sidewalk Sinner, where the potential of having two drummers was really used. If you listen to some later songs of the Glitter Band (e.g. People like you) one can bring forward that one single-armed drummer would have been enough, while there are sitting two guys behind the drumkit 😂

Postać sceniczną GG wykreował utalentowany producent Mike Leander. Wspóltworzył repertuar Glittera. Zaakcentowanie faktow pozwoli uratowac muzyke przed powszechnym ostracyzmem na skutek skazania wokalisty Proces poszlakowy zreszta opieral sie na nieudokumentowanych zeznaniach. Paul Gadd zniknie z lamusa glam rocka niczym banka mydlana nadmuchana w gwiazde przez Leandera. Skwitujemy biografie. Wakacyjny wesolek Henryk Golebiewski byl z niego za mlodu.
