Just had to revisit this video after 5 years as Gary has been gone 34 years this week. 34 years. I can't believe it.. Gary has now been gone longer than he was alive (32 years). Such a tragic, tragic waste of great talent. He was a shining star, a diamond geezer. Very much missed in my eyes. Wayne was central to the Magnificent 7. As much as I love the other 6 too, the 2001-2004 revival were never the same without him . R.I.E.P. Gary, you shone briefly but very brightly.

I grew up around Auf pet and couldn't get enough of it. Unfortunately Im not familiar with Gary's music, but the impression I got was that he was a nice genuine man. It was a very interesting video and cannot fault your hard work and dedication to help others follow. All the very best gentlemen.

My dad is from Pontesbury, my mum from Welspool. I believe the Holton family had a foot in both. My aunt lived opposite the Wellington which the Holton's ran & my grandad went there for pint of guiness evey saturday night. My aunt's business was Lewis Taxis on 18 Berriew Street. I have never visited Garys grave but know Christ Church.

Just wanted to say a big thank you very much for making this video. Last Monday after being inspired by this video, I caught the train to Welshpool to pay my respects to Gary. Thanks to the advice in your video I found the grave site easily. The new headstone placed since this video is very respectful. I can't believe some of the negative comments left by others, this video is nothing but helpful to those fans wishing to remember Gary. Thank you once again for making this video and please continue making these videos. P.S. I like the camaraderie between you too as it makes the video more entertaining.

He was first choice to replace Bon Scott in AC/DC when he died, he turned it down so they got Brian Johnson from the band Geordie. He would have been the perfect replacement for Bon. Much more to Gary than Auf Pet.

I live in Welshpool and have many family and friends buried in this cemetery. I often walk over just to acknowledge the grave more than anything, shame it was raining, its actually a lovely area backing on to the grounds of Powis Castle.

Very interesting video, I remember watching the news and being told that that Gary Holton had died of a heart attack during the filming of the second series. I was a big fan the series and I thought he was a great character. I remember watching the final episodes of the second series where there were clearly doubles and I just couldn't enjoy it as much knowing he had died. I think it was a fitting and respectfully made video, allowing fans to celebrate his life, I've done a bit of research on him and he had a pretty eventful life. I also was surprised to find out after all these years that he died of a drugs overdose and not a heart attack as it was originally reported. But the crazy bustling life he lived couldn't be further removed from this peaceful green area of Wales he is now resting, seems to be a beautiful area. Thanks again for making this video!!

I did meet Gary one night at the Music machine Camden. He spent about twenty minutes chatting to us and then said he had to go... Next minute he was up on the stage with his band... Actually didn't realise who he was at the time, just and unassuming nice bloke... Top tip when looking for graves... Find a grave, that's your first stop... Images, that's your next port of call, someone will have posted an image which will hopefully give you a couple of landmarks and an idea of what your looking for... Personally, when it comes to finding graves I'm like a pig looking for truffles.

Recall the first time I saw Gary was at Wembley in 1975, when the Heavy Metal Kids supported Alice Cooper. I was fan from that day. Met him a few times as the HMK toured. RIP

A cousin of mine also copied Gary's look and image at the time in a failed attempt to impress myself and his mates and of course to attract girls. Not so much of a bad day I had whilst searching for a grave up in Yorkshire I travelled from Cornwall to Birstall looking for Charlotte Bronte's friends grave Ellen Nussey as I got to Sheffield it started pouring with snow so by the time I reach the cemetery there was a foot of snow on every grave well you can imagine how cold my Hands got. Eventually I did find the grave after swiping every grave. Worth it though

It wasn't disrespectful to Gary, It was very respectful using a new character Wyman (20 years) after the original series, can not be called disrespectful. it had the same writers, same actors, and I am convinced the actors and calibre iof them all, if any felt it was disrespectful they would not have participated in the later series

I knew he was burried with his family, my partner & I have tracked down many graves, if you have the name & D.O.D more times than not it's just a case of phoning the Cemetry. One of the graves we found was of Cora Crippin.

Every grave in every graveyard as a plot number and who is in the grave. and I'm sure the lady who runs the graveyard as this log. Mabe she did not want to disclose the whereabouts of said grave. I think you are disrespectful. Why film it. Why can't you just do it for you. I love to seek out celebrity graves but I've never found the need to publish them or film them. I dont think the deceased want there final resting place disclosed.
