In this video, we're going to take a look at one of the most famous chess games in history: the game between Garry Kasparov and Ulf Andersson. Garry Kasparov uses an innovative positional concept to lock out Ulf Andersson's pieces. Ulf Andersson would never play chess the same way again!

Ulf Andersson had another moment like this in 1971 when he lost again Fischer. At that point he changed his playing style and became that positional type of player he is today. Probably one of the most instructive players to follow. There are some books that only concentrate on his style so you can play like him. In the same style, I think we have Ribli and Sosonko.

It always amazes me how the super-top players like Garry and Magnus can make respectable GMs look like total beginners that don't know that you have to develop your pieces!

I’ve been a chess fan since learning the game at age 13. When I shared my love of the game with my best buddy Mike he lost about 50 games straight but he stuck with it and started to beat me. 35 years later he told me that he would not have graduated high school if it weren’t for me playing chess with him! I guess my point is that chess benefits people on every level and for anyone who discovers this can benefit. Discover yourself, play your style because you’re you😎

Tal did, but was more reckless and chaotic, Kasparov was more clinical in his attacks.

I found a brilliant move yesterday in my 1500 blitz game😅 ... I even missed it first time cause I thought it wouldn't work, but then I calculated it's a win win. I sacked my rook for no piece. I used the rook to block opponent's Queen defence of a pawn. The only way opponent could had prolonged the game was to give his Queen for a rook and a Knight, but I had awesome position. And if he accepted my rook, I had forced mate in 3 with another sac and that would be my knight. I can't believe myself... How the hell did I find that rook sac. That has to be 2100 level move.
