I´m about to drive to my female best friend of almost six years to play this song for her. The last two weeks we came each other very close and last night, we cuddled until we kissed. She is very confused about all that and does not know what to think or feel. I´m just plain in love with her. I was in love with her at the beginning of our friendship, and she didn´t return the feelings. But we got through it. And now, here we are. Something special in both heads. Guys, I just want you to know I love this women more than anything else I have. When i´m with her, I see us settle down, get one or two kids and just be at each others side until the end. I´m sure. I love her. I will give my best and play this song to her. Thank you for this wonderful live. I love you all and wish you just the best in your lives. Wish me everything good you can. Please. Thank you. Bye.

Exactly a week ago, I lost my dog Cutler. He was this beautiful, beautiful amstaff. One of the big loves of my life. We we're battling a cancer, something that was hurting his lungs so bad. I did all I could. We did. Had to make a donation campaign, you know... To pay all the bills through three different hospitals. It worked like magic! I never had so much people sending donations, sending love and hope. Sharing my letter asking for help. It was a beautiful touching moment. Sadly, even with the best meds I could get, it was his time. He almost died in my arms. We used to walk everyday, in the visit time, on the backyard of the hospital. He was always happy, and the walkings were just good. After the walk, me and Cutler would go back to the resting room (with all other dogs) and lay down on the floor. I'd give him a nice hug, sometimes I prayed with him in my arms, sometimes I just say "hey son, don't worry, you'll be good! This people are taking good care and making sure you'll heal!". Last thursday he got a attack in the walk. Had to take him in my arms and run back to the meds. They took him into oxygen. It was alright again. Than, another attack... Oxygen. Okay for now. Had to leave him, visitation time is up. While I was in the bus back home, got the call. Went home crying all the way. In the bus, at the street, at home. Than sometime this song rose up to me. The lyrics fits like magic. And somehow, it numbs the pain, the poetry donates a bit of hope and sense to my heart, you know? And that's why I thank Snow Patrol for. That's what art is all about.

Gary, this song cannot be diminished by anything you (or anyone) may say or how many times it's said, this song captures (in a most pure way) something so special. Thank You

It always amazes me how some of the best songs can just be so simple

Wow... this video reminds me of the first time I heard the song. Like many, it was a much simpler time for me, and I wish I could go back.

Every so often, a song will be written that will stay with us forever. For me, this song still makes me feel the same as it did when i first heard it.

This song touches so many nerves deep inside me it can be hard to stand up. If you are here today tell someone one and show them you love them and I hope you have a fantastic day today and forever.

I can’t listen to this without crying. All the tough things I have been through, war, death of young men and constant physical pain in my body from years of doing what I thought was right...... I know that deep inside I am that 10 yr old boy whose still afraid of the dark without the woman I said “I do” . 😕

Fantastic, its funny when you know a song so well. Well you think you do. Then listening it to it like this, you appreciate it more and absorb the lyrics and hear them for the first time..

This is a beautiful song and I just stopped for gas in my SUV. I never gave the song a chance when I heard it on the radio I lost my mom to cancer she had lupus as well now here we are history repeating itself now I'm 36 and I have cancer. I love my beautiful wife Tamela I love my two beautiful children Ethan and Makayla. These are the kind of songsthat make your life so meaningful and Rich no matter how long you have or have short it's going to be I've come a long way in my life from being a songwriter for various musicians such as Jason Mraz and a few other artists that are Christian artists.that was one of my favorite songs that he is overdone simplicity and beautiful lyrics and that's all it is romanticizing just lying there and enjoying each other in the time that God has given us. This in my opinion is his big fish do you understand what I'm saying?
