Been watching your site now for some years. I have improved my techniques and theory understanding. I can now identify how to work out chords for various songs and love it immensely. I am having a little issue with 1 song. I have the bones of the song, however, there are some tricky bits. Even though they may be actually easy. Can you do a cover/lesson for 'too many clowns' by Magnum. This is such a catchy riff, but some of the changes are a little tricky for me. Thank you.

I am literally about to start learning (picked up a guitar from a friend today - bit of a late starter here, but better late than never!) and I love this lesson. I have to agree with Joss Benyon on this - not at all intimidating to a complete beginner (well, I can play Dueling Banjos a little haha)

For the chorus, play this: G D Em Bm (1st time) and G D Em F# (2nd time). That is the whole rhythm section of the song. First part versus, second part chorus. With the capo at 7th fret, play these shapes: C G Am Em (1st time) and C G Am B. Very cool rhythm song.

Your a doll. Thanks for providing the variations to help thicken up the sound and add some contrast, compared to using only a few notes throughout. Can I request a song? Well, I'm going to anyway, please don't take offense. I'm trying to learn Jason Mraz's version of Bob Dylan's "Hard Rains Gonna Fall". His tribute is beautifully done, but I'm struggling since it contains a lot of variations in chords and fingerpicking, and I can't find a tutorial anywhere. :( If you're not doing much on videos anymore or just too busy, I understand! Cheers! 🐰

Another little bit of variety for the chorus, I like to leave the high E ringing (Dsus2), so, as he did on the top strings, do the same in the open chords, A E Dsus2 A
