Greetings and Love from Germany again. Awe, thank you so much, buddy...i found Gary back in 1985. The first song i heard from him was 'Hiroshima'. The very first 10-15 seconds of this one, i listened with those eighties fat headphones, that riff splashed thru my ears and burned into my brain to be stayed there forever. I'm not exaggerating when i say that whenever i hear it again, my skin crumbles together and in my head thousands emotions twisting arround like a Tornado of flashbacks with a smell taste of nostalgic. I was a fresh Metalhead at that time, Maiden was and is still my Nr.one. I knew of Gary as a really great guitarist, never heard him and didn't know he actually sings too. I heard great guitars from like Helloween, ACCEPT, Running Wild and others...but such an unlike, an out of this world guitar sound like in that 15 seconds Gary's guitarplay of 'Hiroshima'...never heard something like that before.(maybe you react to it ☺)And not only that, playing his instrument in a way, he literaly paint that picture with it that totaly fits to the Theme, the topic of the song, Hiroshima. Unbelieveable. In his early Metal period he wrote many great anti-war-songs, wich i totaly felt for, me as a pacifist who absolut can't stand violence of any kind. Gary complete changed me, put my life and my view of life in the best direction, i never knew thats even possible. But it was, the huge power of music. He did that in 1989. He played some concerts here in Germany. And here in my hometown near Cologne. And i was so lucky to get a Ticket and expirienced my most magical evening ever. I was and i'm still very panic of large crowds of people, called 'Agoraphobia'. But i had to take that perhaps once in a lifetime chance and get a witness of his unhuman guitarplay live on stage. It was my second concert (saw AC/DC one year before) and i can't even discribe what it did to my ears, eyes, mind..to whole body. Crazy intensive, as you can see by my writing bout it. It wasn't a huge venue, so there's unfortunately no live footage of my concert. 1989, no camera phones, no KZbin, no internet or live streams. Only illegal bootleg recordings. I actually found my Ac/Dc concert on a VHS tape. Filmed by a fan. How he managed that with a huge Videocamera, i don't know. I only found a live Audio recording of my Gary concert on KZbin. I even have my orig. Tour Ticket. So you can imagine what Gary means to me. And can imagine how big my respect for you now is. And of course for Tommy. I can't stand Gary Moore covers, to be honest. Its Gary, or no one, period. Tommy and his passion, his true inspirationell love for Gary, Tommy is the only exception for me. But it seems to me Tommy isn't reaching his goal quite well. To bring back the most underatet guitar magician, Gary, to the people. Cause nearly every KZbinr reacts to Tommy, but without paying respect for checking out the orig. from Gary Moore. That sucks, kinda..Not so YOU, buddy. You did and immidiately recognized the uniqueness of his magical guitar playing. I absolut appreciate that. That needs to be said, my friend. You're the only Ytuber who understand the main core of music reactions. Wich sadly got lost with the years. Today it seems just bout selfish expressions, fame, patreons, donations, likes and lot of subcriber. Nothing wrong with that aslong its in a healthy way, and not the most important thing of your channel. Most reacters are more like actors, putting up a show, loving everything and without any critics or expounding a true opinion. Reactors like you are rare, serious. Thank you for you being you..and please continue your way. Have a peaceful day and stay safe, buddy .
