Hello, dear friend. I see our flag on your avatar. I'm from Ukraine, we just want to live peacefully here, have our own national culture, our own language and our heroes Shukhevych, Bandera, waffen SS and so on. We are very grateful to the West for all the support it gives us. Therefore, we are ready to honor your democratic values, such as McDonald's, LGBT and Nickelback. For their sake, we sacrificed our compatriots from Donbass for 8 years. Glory to Ukraine. Glory to the USA, England and EU. Glory to our domination! Give us more money.

That's just ridiculous. Somehow Gary has a bionic middle finger that doesn't mind the stretch while also having the ability to break the light barrier. While most of us would use our ring finger for those trills it appears Gary gets his middle over there and does it to maintain that blaring speed. It very well may be that he was born with hands most of us can't possess. Like he natural had a faster twitch that could contract his fingers in a way that was God given. I think he truly was born to play the guitar. It's hard to fathom. I'm in no way down playing the time and effort he put into honing his craft but you don't even see 99.9 percent of legit pros with that ability. He was a natural. Thank you for figuring this out. I always slowed it down to .5 to see what he was doing because it was just a blur otherwise.
@blacksabbath10224 жыл бұрын
He does a fluttering effect with his fingers that I don't get close to achieving even without a guitar in my hand. His fingers move like the wings on a damn hummingbird.

@@DanCampbellGuitar Dan, have you ever tried to tackle the closing lick in what I think is one of Gary's Moore's finest ever solo's, 'Too Young To Love' by Gregg Lake? It is one of his most difficult to pull off and through my studies of it, it can only be played fingerstyle.

You make some really great and helpful videos. Thanks for making the effort. Great to see one appreciate Gary's playing. I have always wondered how Gary could rip these fast runs. I notice that he was using his second finger and not the third for the fast hammer ons and pull offs - crazy. He playing was just out of this world. Keep up the good work. I would be nice to see you play some of Gary's version of The Messiah Will Come Again. Loads of cool stuff in that one. Cheers from Denmark.

That's great Dan! Got it down. I've been I would have to say obsessed with Gary's style since I saw him play in 70' with Skid Row. Have you heard 'Felicity' from their album 'Skid' I saw him play that and I was trancefixed, from then on I had to try and learn it. I've learnt a lot from studying Gary, and yes your right, his dynamic and accuracy is amazing. Just think he had all that at age 18!. Thanks for this. Subscribed
