Gary P is my favorite at capturing acoustic instruments. Everything he does sounds like its emanating from your head, while still having a sense of space. I feel like the instruments are right there in front of me. Nobody else captures that as well.

@@Teeb2023 yeah…I have Cubase 12, Studio one 5 and Protools 2022.7

@@gagsmedia I have found Cubase to sound very ' clean' compared to PT, Studio One 5, DP and Logic. Track the same instrument into each and each DAW sounds different with the same source going into it. The latest versions of each DAW sound great but different. I sell these at my retail store which is why I did this real time test thru the same audio interface. I used the same piano source playing a demo into each DAW.

I think he was referring to when Cubase first came out, it sounded the best of DAWs that they demoed then.
