I am so glad to find you, I studied on and off since 1970's and just realized from Gary's previous talk that I was working to awaken IN the dream rather than FROM the dream so I get caught up in things like How do I forgive factory farming where animals are abused and then eaten. So I guess I was making some parts of the dream unforgivable due to their abhorrent nature, and have been vegan because of ethical and humane reasons. So if the dream content has no inherent value, then the self righteousness disappears, but not so quick. Then protein and vitamins and minerals should also have no value, we also made that up, so then how to know what is "right" to eat if its all illusion, and why not eat, drink and smoke??? This is the wall I come up against every time I pick up the course yet one more time? Why should toxic air and pollution matter if we made it all up? This is very confusing. Been at this for so long but still stuck in the Dream!

At our level as students, our mind still believes that if we eat unhealthy and breathe toxic air we will become physically sick, regardless of the fact that we may intellectually understand that this is all a dream.

@@acimvideos2259 thank you ... so then back to as a man thinketh, so to speak ... in any case one great thing I have noticed is that no matter how wonderful life goes, it is never quite as good as those aha moments of divine connection and living the Namaste ... a tall order for us earthlings! As Werner Erhard used to say, it's the best game in town. How do I join the calls? I joined the facebook audio, is there something else?

@@ooohlaa13 yep, nothing on Earth like those "aha" moments! I really don't know how one gets on the video to ask questions to Gary. It's been my path to be a loner with ACIM. I've never connected with groups online or anything.

I actually have a tip for Julio, the last caller. There is an app, called ACIM lessons, I believe. It's free and has all workbook lessons in it. I have a similar app in German (as I'm from Germany). Mine also has an automatic reminder when you have to repeat the lesson throughout the day. It should work the same in the English version, I guess. Could you please share this with Julio? I think it can be helpful. Gary gave the best advice though- and I'm very thankful for that- to be more determined! It's good to keep that in mind. Thank you Jared for your precious videos and love from Germany! 💛
