If i may ask can n make n pipe out of pine wood?? I am not sure dude?

I can’t (super don’t want to) answer every question about wood choice, but I’ve seen pine come up enough times and it’s definitely not okay, so I’ll pin this comment for others. Wood is divided into two general categories: hardwoods (broad leafs, flowering) & softwoods (needles, pine cones). These are broad classifications; some “hardwoods” are actually softer than softwoods (like balsa), and some softwood trees don’t have needles, etc. Softwoods, like pine, are usually used for construction, paper, and-here’s the important bit-FIREWOOD. Softwoods make good fuel but poor pipes (this is generally speaking, if you know of a species that is viable, have at it but I’m sticking to hardwoods). Hardwoods-like Briar & Cherrywood-are denser, have tighter growth rings, and pores & vessels running throughout the wood. These qualities allow the wood to absorb the heat from the bowl without combusting or degrading too quickly. The briar pipe in the “Basics” video got that because I was absolutely abusing it by smoking bowl after bowl after bowl over several weeks. Real shame, that was a cool pipe. Anyway, I reckon a pine pipe might last a week or two before it’s burnt to cinders, but that’s after you’d’ve inhaled loads and loads of woodsmoke. I don’t think you’d make it that far, and if you did, you wouldn’t be happy about it. Pine, spruce, cedar (god, especially cedar!) and the like are no good to make the bowl from. But like I said in the vid, you can make the air passage from just about any wood you can safely put your lips on.

You big beautiful curvy ass bastard I'm so glad your back brother. I feel you on the family thing I had similar thing happened to me and all of my art artifacts tools and everything I've collected including my toys from when I was a child was taken from me by family member and sold along with the house I was living in... So I fell you. Sometimes life sucks and it keeps sucking for a little while but there's always a possibility of us building ourselves up and pulling ourselves out of where we were. And when bad things happen it gives us a chance to learn from them to not repeat them or as an example how not to treat other when others people when someone does us wrong. I'm really glad to see you back man. Your vids got me in to making stone pipes
