Omg so amazing. Im in UK and U.S. are our Brothers in Arms and its so humbling to watch. I bawled my eyes out, like i do when they do the same over here on our tv. It's nothing more than what our veterans deserve. It's nice to see this. What gets me also is the amount of homeless veterans in both our countries. I say house them before housing immigrants. Theres no excuse. Veterans should never be homeless. They risked everything and so many gave all. The last thing we can do is home, homeless veterans and take away some of their suffering.
@claudeusgothicus64535 жыл бұрын
I second that! It's disgraceful that we house and/or give everything to everyone except our own vets! It makes me livid and it's disgraceful of our governments who should be called to a reckoning on this.

Truly beautiful and totally deserved. I'm English and proud of that. I still want to thank you Tyler for your service. I also want to thank every service person from every country who serves to keep the free world safe and for the privilege of choice. A choice to vote A choice on education and career A freedom to voice our opinion in safety, free of retaliation. I truly respect you all. To the partners of service people. Thank you for being prepared and willing to support your spouse in their decision to enlist. For taking on extra burden, to live with the fears of something happening to hurt your love. So we live without fear. To the children. I can't begin to imagine what it feels like to have your mum or / and dad serve in the military. I know your deepest fear is losing them or living after losing them. Always remember there are many people the world over who live in gratitude and love giving thanks to the service people who fight to keep us safe. Living with fear and uncertainty must be so hard but don't think it's in vain it's not. I give thanks every day that I have choice. I pray your parents come home safe. When you are sad or frightened know there's people all over the world praying for you and your family. Once again thank you

Do you know what pisses me off when watching videos like these? The politicians, who start the wars, serve their four years & then move on with their privileged lives while young men & women & their families are left to live with the consequences for the rest of their lives. Maybe the rule should be that, on declaring war, the politicians should be first on the ground & in the front line. That would make them think twice!! Rant over.
@claudeusgothicus64535 жыл бұрын
At the very least I'd like to see their continued and separate from the average citizens' privileges (retirement, insurance, etc) taken away. There's no reason for it to continue on after they've left office. Especially when you consider our vets live on little pay and when they're done many are even destitute not even being able to receive the benefits they are legally entitled to (remembering agent orange, etc.).
@deborahchesebro4084 жыл бұрын
These soldiers don't think about the politicians. Most are happy to serve their country. I had the privilege to spend time at Walter Reed and saw many young soldiers w/o limbs though they had the best out look on life. Walter Reed helps them tremendously. I met some politicians who were wonderful and caring. So many people, including politicians who care.
