HUGE Surprise Renovation for Paralyzed Teen Lifeguard

After diving into the ocean and accidentally hitting a sandbar, 16 year-old lifeguard, Sam Jarmer, has been recovering from being paralyzed from the chest down. While living apart from his family due to the inaccessibility of his 200 year-old victorian home, Sam’s father suffered an unexpected heart attack. George to the Rescue was honored to provide the family with a safe, accessible, and tranquil environment for the whole family to enjoy.

When I first started watching these "George" episodes, I had a somewhat negative reaction, thinking about the hundreds of families with similar challenges who don't get a "George" in their lives. Watching this episode guided me to the realization that the important thing is that at least ONE family does get "George" and, hopefully, that these videos might inspire others to become like George and his team and do for other families what George doesn't have the time nor the location to do. So thanks for an inspirational, positive example of what makes a really good neighbour!

Sending healing words and an encouraging story. My Dad broke his neck. Was told he would never walk again. He is still partially paralyzed but my father returned to playing sports eventually and lived a great and long life

This was one of the best choices for a family's need to get their home done, I couldn't imagine having a handicapped child living across the street because my home wasn't handicap accessible. Samvincible indeed, his story was amazing. ** I've watched this episode about 5 times now and I keep thinking why is this so interesting to me? At the age of 18 months, I was ran over in our driveway by someone who was visiting my grandparents and after many surgeries and skin graphs, my doctor told my mom that I would never walk again. After getting my cast off 8 weeks later, I was never allowed to even try to walk. At the age of 2 about 6 months after getting ran over, I kept trying but had to be retaught how to walk again & eventually I did which is why this families story means so much to me.❤️

At about 12 minutes in the following video popped up in the form of an advertisement: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJWrdoSMgK-tbbs I have filed a formal complaint with KZbin. Complaining about the content of a youtube video is cut and dry but when extremely offensive advertisements interrupt a video, advertisements with foul and obscene and violent language, it makes your video unsafe for children to watch and there is no procedure in place to complain about obscene advertising on KZbin. I have flagged your video as unsafe and inappropriate to watch because of who you are accepting advertising money from. I also cannot trust that your channel is safe for anyone under 21 to view. Furthermore I am filing a complaint with the FCC. You people should be ashamed of yourselves!

My dad is a paraplegic due to a drunk driver accident. He lost the use of his legs at the age of 18. I love the story because I know how hard it is to find spaces for people that are paraplegic’s. These people are amazing and all I did was cry the whole time. May God bless all of you!! Sam seems to be on a great route of recovery. I pray God heals him completely and he can be out surfing and lifeguarding soon.

This is just amazing. I love watching stories like this. I have had a neurological condition that has been a hindrance for me and I was even paralyzed for 3 years and my wheelchair barely fit in my 50+ year old home. Definitely had a lot of painting to do then. I am walking again and I definitely can say that there’s hope for people who are wheelchair bound. Even from a wheelchair, you can do amazing things in life and be all you want to be.
