The interviewer at the end says to Gary - "You're a big shot actor..." Gary is the type of human being I aspire to become. He NEVER has a "big shot" attitude, as he is one of the most humble people on earth! As a veteran, I have the utmost respect for him. I watched most of the videos on the Gary Sinise Foundation website and I was overwhelmed to the point of tears over the work they do to help wounded veterans get a custom house built specifically for them and their injuries. A snappy salute always to Lt. Dan!

I have always loved Gary's acting work...but...it was when I read his book "Grateful American" that I found a whole new meaning to Humble....and that is exactly what Gary gives off when he comes into a room and chats with anyone who is in there! I wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone to read and absorb! In a Country where WE ALL can be anything...I choose to be Kind and I hope this pleases Gary! Cheers Everyone

Sometimes, often times, it only takes one person with the right venue to change our attitudes. I will never look at a veteran who has lost a part (or parts) of their body as "handicapped" again. I will look at them as "inspirational", worthy of respect, not pity.

Gary, I wanted to post a big Thank You to you for what you have done for us veterans at a KZbin video posted by your foundation, but the comments are disabled. Yet your foundation wants us to spread the word along with our own comments. Sounds like a double standard to me. They should be working for the government. Anyway, thank you Gary for showing us how to be a true patriot and how to offer more than just thanks. America needs more people like you. God bless you Lt. Dan. I salute you.

Actually, Gary Sinise is the one person who transcends all of the political BS in Hollywood. There's an impromptu video here on You Tube of Hollywood figures and soldiers letting him know how grateful they are for all he does, and some of them are quite far to the left. What he does is so honest and without reproach that it can't possibly be denied.

Give praise and glory to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice who serve this nation you know takes a lot to serve your country and I'm forever grateful to all the men and women who serve this great nation this long great nation for the land of immigrants I've said this video times because of the sacrifice of the men and women in our military past present and preparing for the future we're able to do the things that we want to do without having people tell us we cannot do that without having countries or leaders tell us that we can't sing a song or we can't do a dance God bless America and God bless Gary sinise and all the men and women who every day put their lives on the line for the USA the greatest country that I've ever known and I'm proud to be to have been born in this country you know as a boy I was growing up and my parents they always cared about veterans my father used to tell me the story about some of his friends some of his teammates at the Cathedral Latin in Ohio and he used to talk about some of the people from the different areas that didn't play at Latin but we're friends remember him sharing the story about Charles Berry who was killed that hewajima from Lorain Ohio and he received the Congressional medal of Honor God bless all our veterans never forget when I was growing up my greatest generation sure I think the World war II vets but my greatest generation were the Vietnam vets and seeing one Dominguez made me remind of the young men and women who I taught along the way some of them are coached along the way who went to Iraq and Afghanistan and some of them didn't come back and I often think about a buddy of mine who was killed in Beirut Lebanon serving this country give praise and glory to your veterans our veterans never forget the men and women of our armed forces so when you see a veteran thank him and say thank you God
