I'm impressed with Dee here, she stayed calm and respectful. She didn't let him get away with the age thing or the fact he's had a near death experience and stuck to the fact that he does take everything so seriously. I do like Gary, he is an eccentric and I think some housemates should be a bit more tolerant and understanding of his hearing issues.

Totally agree with what you said. There have been so many complaints to offcom about the bullying towards him. I haven't been able to watch a full episode as it has sickened me. He's 70 years old. Yes he can be a bit eccentric but does he deserve to be attacked by everyone. James called him an freako and an animal and he was despised by everyone in the house. How is that not bullying?

tracey cross Yeah, there has been a fair bit of targeting towards Gary, and I'm not saying he would be easy to live with either, but he is a very mesmerising person to watch either on film or on reality television. I hope he gets a brilliant reception when he gets out, and some of the others get a good grilling by Emma!

Oops....lol! This is the episode I'm talking about. I got so angry at her as she didn't have the guts to pick anyone else. She just used poor Gary as the target again. Big brother needs to have a task where the public somehow gets to give their opinions on the housemates. I bet they'd have thousands of responses. Plus it would help Gary to hare how much he's actually liked.
