⭐️ I’m a doer and I like doers. A review from a guy who used a tool for 2 years and displays a tool that shows some wear is MUCH, MUCH more valuable to me than seeing an UNBOXING review by a city boy who barely uses or demonstrates a tool (looking at you, Panda). Thank you. 👍🏻

At 4:30 a hole is dug around the stump and the reciprocating saw is used to cut the roots. While this works, using an ax is much more effective in removing the roots. Also, with an ax one does not have to do as much digging around difficult roots.

I just used it for taking care of a bunch of tree branches that fell down last weekend it was still very effective for anything like 4 inches in diameter or less. The key thing is to have multiple batteries so you can just take another one and use it. Of course make sure to put the empty battery on the charger and keep going. Batteries usually take around three hours give or take to charge. Unlessyou have a rapid pro charger I think that takes anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes to charge. I have one rapid pro charger and a bunch of other slow ones. The good news is that I currently have at least eight batteries. What that means even if you go use all eight batteries as long as you put them on the charger when you're done you're going to have quite a few more ready to go for a second and third time around.

I just used it last week to help my neighbors remove 2 small mulberry trees. It was very effective for roots 3 inches or less and only took about 10-15 minutes and one battery to finish both.

Best video I've seen on this recip. I've thought about getting it many times because I already have B&D batteries with a drill but its small size makes it hard to take seriously. Looks like you've pushed it to its limits and its delivered. I guess it's all about the intended use. For around the house basics, it looks like a winner.

Glad you had a great experience with this saw after two years. I just got this as a Christmas gift with battery and quick charger. My neighbor has asked me to take out about thirty feet of light bush. A local contractor wanted $850, I do it for $ 450. I will purchase extra batteries and a lot of nine inch wood blades.

Man I love review videos like these. I want to see how tools hold up. Have you ever greased it or done any maintenance on it? I’m gonna get one in the ryobi brands. Probably about the same quality. Thanks again.

No maintenance yet. However, I think the motor has worn down a little bit in the last year. It still works though just not quite as much power. Thanks.

Well you sold me. The b&d battery circular saw I got is a beast.

Yes, it is nice to be able to use the batteries on multiple tools! Thanks.

Good review, although the saw is so dirty😂. By the way, what is the battery life -- i.e. how long does the battery last with a single, full charge?
@garydevries59613 жыл бұрын
Battery life depends on what one is cutting if just trimming small tree branches I might start with one battery as backup. If cutting up tree branches for wood burning probably 3 to 5 batteries. Although one battery can be recharged on the rapid charger in about 30 minutes otherwise the other chargers take about 3 hours or so. No when I use it for taking down trees by cutting out the roots that will usually drain the battery much faster. As far as battery life I purchased 12 20 volt batteries 3 years ago and two of them went bad while the others still work. In short it depends on what type of projects it is used for. Thanks and good luck!

Here is a link to the Black & Decker weed trimmer which you can use these batteries for as well: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hHLScqOior-Iqas

I dont want to be the only one saying a negative review...but I trimmed a few oleander limbs and it battery died after maybe fifteen minutes ...more or less

Correct. If doing a job that size it is probably best to bring 3 batteries. Would also recommend a rapid pro charger (recharges in 30 minutes, instead of 2-3 hours). When I use the weed trimmer which uses the same batteries, typically 4-6 batteries are used for about a 2 acre job with a lot of trimming. For a smaller residential home, it might take 2-3 batteries. Have 8 batteries at the moment. The best deals I found on batteries were at Walmart with 2 batteries and a drill for $50. . . Not sure if they still have it though. Bought 4 batteries using that method. Also my experience with RC cars has had similar results with battery life as well. Thanks for watching and good luck!
