Well done Gary you should be really proud of yourself, you've come a long way since starting, I remember contacting you in the early days as I was amazed to find out you were based in Elland where my grandma and grandad used to run the picture house. What a shrewd move from Nikon, Canon must be kicking theirselves about such a missed opportunity. Don't go putting yourself down saying you're not as good as some of the ambassadors either, the images form this shoot alone are good enough. One last thing Gary, I'm coming up 67 this year and Tunnocks haven't approached me about any collaboration or ambassador role, considering my expertise in dispatching their tea cakes and the number I consume it's scandalous. 😂

I learnt a few years ago; put cross climate tyres on the van (michelin) -- they are very good . For me the snow drops/movement makes a better picture. What conditions -- just great :)

Hello Gary, I'm shocked to think you don't think you deserve it. Wow, what a place that is which we have seen many times on KZbin, I am so glad that you left the snow falling in many of your pictures they were just wonderful! the other thing is I am so happy that Nikon have taken a keen interest in the way you handle every situation that you find yourself in to take pictures, it's rare I talk about cameras or lenses but I have used Nikon cameras and lenses as my main brand for over 50yrs or more and the equipment has never let me down and I have never been a person to upgrade for upgrading sake, I do have a couple of third party lenses which I still use to this day! I am sure you will be happy with Nikon over the coming years. 63 yrs of age you are still only a baby yet but its great to see you out in those wild places and to get the pictures that you get, all I can say is thank you for taking us all with you and you deserve all those comments of good wishes that you get, thank you!

This morning I opened my Google TV and it shows me something I would be interested in and it's you with a new video in the snow God forbid. Wonderful video there is something I found interesting I noticed when it's snowing you shoot at a very slow shutter speed I am doing the opposite and you're way seems to make the falling snow almost disappear I have to go look at the video I see how you do that by slowing the speed if that's what you're doing. Great work as usual thanks I really thanks I really enjoyed it.
