Generally, but it all depends on the weather, and microclimate. For example, two years ago we had a warmer fall/winter, and our Pinkerton began to blossom in October, but this year not till February. This year our Lamb and Bacon did begin to flower about the same time. Some varieties flower longer...Pinkerton seems to flower for over three months. Hope this helps.

Lamb is such an underrated tree. This year is the first year my Lamb will produce fruit and I am excited! My tree is loaded with little fruitlets. When will you release Big Mup?

With the knowledge that you have, can you advise me where I can legally acquire some plants of this beautiful fruit?

Lamb hass seems to bear so much as a young tree it’s best to remove the fruit for the first five years or you end up with very slow growth. At my grove I have many lamb trees and the ones that I left to their own will have given me lots of fruits but are considerably smaller trees than the ones I’ve stripped out every year.

Lamb can sometime have slight amount of strings at stem end and does not peel well other than that its an excellent tree to grow.

Small lamb trees or bacon can handle about 29-30 and larger trees can do a few degrees better, lamb has good color green not light meat,lamb somewhat grown commercialy and in stores they might just call it Hass.
